Started LST. Zkittlez not liking natural magnesium excess in soil. Extra watering and humates to flush root zone. Improved new growth. Weather warm and rainy.
Started putting up a few cages around the hybrids, especially the Bb Gelato, Zkittlez, Banana OG, and Chemmy blues. Did a bit more pinching on selected numbers. LST on HSD and BOg. Hot and dry. Spread hygrozome. Noticing first signs of preflower 👌
Preflower going in force. Pulled 6 males from 30 plants, good odds... Been unbearable hot and dry, windy. Starting to flood irrigate and stop overhead.
Weather was great even rained a little. Starting to see flowers, so week one of flowering. Have first dose of Azamax. Also started bloom nutes, Big Bloom on photoperiods
Got 3/4 inch of rain night before last, rain maybe tonight again. Spread Azamax last week, foliar and systemic. H.Sour Diesel is getting completely demolished, also seems one of them is male. Leaving the male as a "bait" plant until further inspection and removal of entire plant and burning; it is FULL of borers. Studying why the impact is so great on the sour diesel but nothing on the autos or indicas.
Experiencing ing a heat wave It was 104° Fahrenheit yesterday and 105° Fahrenheit today. Chose breeders and will be moving the male to a different locale for flowering
Second week of temperatures consistently above 100, hot dry. Got 3/4 of an inch of rain in the last week and a hail storm No damage. Grasshoppers 83 of my auto flower seedling soap I have three more going. Harvested gorilla cookies. Found one last male, Chemmy blues
All the big photo periods got a trim this week, removed all bottom branches and small cloning sites to open up inside to let air through. Gave systemic azamax and sprayed Sour Diesel and purple kush just to be safe.
Gave systemic Azamax, I Pam should last approximately 3 weeks we'll check again then if needed. But I called somebody on the sour diesel because it's in the back yard getting my grasshoppers. Also did take some micro rise a mix out and give everybody some beneficial microbes. Blueberry gelato as well over the top of my head. Looking at the number two Skittles plant looks like it's going to be quite a hefty plant, Good thing I put it tomato cage under it. More than most lemon amnesia is getting crowded a little bit but it still looks good might trim back raspberries so they're not pushing so far to the south. Everybody got personally watered with a gallon today
Plants are doing amazingly well. The mail that I dug up and moved over to a caretaker's house during exceptional. Love the branching lot of male stigma. Steady ipm, no borer problems over here. Giving the male a little bit of tiger bloom since he's actually in a container I don't have to keep it organic and he looked hungry. He greened right up and responded very well.
Great weather this week, couple rain showers. Preparing for a pretty big thunderstorm this evening hopefully no hail. Girls are looking good, one of the lemon Amnesia Haze is really flowering out a lot faster than everybody else and she's looking really nice. Have one Skittles in South part of the garden that looks like it's going to have a pretty nice yield on it. Lost two branches on the Purple Kush number one due to getting too heavy with water weight, so maybe need to look at putting a little bit of help underneath her to hold those branches up they're going to snap.
Gave all the big girls a hard prune this week, needed to get under there and get some airflow. So let me just hazes our flower and pretty quick, also found a few seeds in the bottom branches from the blueberry banana sherbert cross with burnt toast male that we found three weeks ago. Picking seeds out but maybe just leave some in there and save them, might come in handy in the future. Everything going well; lost a couple branches in a rain storm this week but other than that everybody's looking really good, might shoot some IPM this week too
Went through and last week and removed all bottom branches and interstin and create better airflow and remove both sides that weren't going to get light. Cleaned out underneath and put top dressing down for final flowering
Harvest time. One Skittles has already been harvested, Purple Kush is being trimmed at the moment along with banana OG. The sour diesel looks awful close too so we might start trimming on that one as well.. good seed formation on bottom branches of Jack straw and white widow so those will sit for another month... Got lazy just swiped my pictures from my Instagram lol
Harvest is in full swing have already cut six plants.. I will come back and do weights and measures when harvesters fully complete. I've already cut the purple kush and lemon amnesia, also the banana OG. Probably will be working on the Humboldt Sour Diesel and White Widow in the next couple days
Smoke has a nice flowery Citrus taste, really smooth good daytime smoke can feel really really in the head and kind of a tingling in the face, great antidepressant potential
She definitely had it rough. We have a serious problem with corn borers and lost four of the sour diesel siblings to them before they could even start flowering. She did good with LST and did manage to Branch out quite well but then in overwatering incident in 80 mph wind pushed her over so she spent the rest of flowering trellis and ended up getting a good harvest out of her but would have liked a little bit more pest resistance. Smoke is great nice and Flowery really light feel it in the head and eyes good daytime smoke will add pictures when everything's all put together in Harvest is completely done
Really good daytime smoke. Nice lemonade taste but a little bit herbal and nice little munchie on set so good for appetite and a little heady, good for motivation and daily tasks
They did a really good job I did one LST and the other one I just used a trellis. The one with the LST actually did better the one with the Trellis was on the North side and got hit by the borders pretty hard but still managed to maintain made some beautiful colas and a lot of really good late Harvest smoke nice and clean after the last wave of borers died off.. great structure quite a bit of leaf but not so bad to trim, really nice pretty plants really bushy
@Captensmokey, yes, it's really handy to have a couple of each strain, that way when I harvest they don't all ripen at once, I can take my time and relax between plants lol 👌😁
