This lady (and ALL of them) continues incredible growth - 7" in a week... damn! She is also continuing to spend days outside in the sun and nights in the tent under lights ... in fact, she's been in the tent now for a couple of days as the temps outside have fallen to the low 50s during the day and low 40s at night... So I try to keep her in "perfect" conditions and she likes it. She's also in pre-flower so I'm excited to see the flowers start this week. A few burnt tips told me I was giving her too much nitrogen so I cut back on Grow Big last week and cut it out altogether from here on out... Tiger Bloom has enough nitrogen in it to keep it going and she doesn't need any more than that. Now I have to do more LST, especially since she's spending more time in the tent - if she was outside, the sunlight can penetrate into the lower bud sites in a way the artificial lights can't.... I'm really LIKING this hybrid indoor/outdoor grow! No bug problems so far but I've ordered some insect netting and am getting ready to protect the flowers from anything that wants to munch on them.

I was expecting flowers by now as she's been in pre-flower for about a week and a half... is this something I'm doing wrong or am I just too impatient? This is actually a hybrid indoor/outdoor grow.

She just seems to be a long auto.
She looks very close to pre flower, I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't see lil hairs coming up very soon.
Ah she's an auto so idk y you'd flip her. She definitely had ruderails if she has grown that fast.
But, if she hasn't flipped soon, you can always lower the light timing of keep it at full tilt and block out a part to see if she throws of pistils, just an idea, but she has to have RE to have grown that quick.
I see pistils soon. But you'll know in a week or so if she hasn't throw out hairs you might have a female so try block out a part that is just about to throw out a new node set.

I'm down to one plant of this strain and she has basically stopped growing.. and ALL of her buds are looking weird. They're not fattening up and are producing strange leaves... I'm stumped! Pics are portions of the main cola but they ALL look like this...

Looks like she is foxtailing to me, only ever had 2 foxtail on me. I think it will continue to foxtail with the older buds developing properly but fresh newer buds will continue to emerge. If it does that you will just have to decide how fat to let it grow before chopping.

I AM COMBINING ALL DIARIES OF THIS STRAIN INTO THIS DIARY AS ALL PLANTS ARE NOW AT THE SAME STAGE AND THERE IS LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN THE GROWS. This was all an experiment to see if size of pot, age, etc would affect the growth - and it hasn't.

@izzy89, LOL! Only gave them half strength nutes... and lots of sunshine and filled in the rest of the 24 hours with full lights and lots of warmth! Yeah - the growth was incredible!!

Hi. Shame about the rot. I have had a break this summer and couldn't get any outdoors plants going. Last few years I have hit the same problem as you have outdoors and got a load of rot.

@GrowingGrannie, mine was grown gorilla style in the middle of no where, hadn't visited them for 2 weeks and every plant was full of rot. I destroyed the crop. If they had some usable buds I wasn't taking the risk.

@Hashy, what did you DO about the rot? I've pitched two whole plants because of my paranoia over it - but then I saw a picture of some strawberries, one of which was covered in the grey mold, and I realized I'd seen that very thing before on strawberries and I pitched the moldy one and ate the good one... but someone had convinced me that if you find even a LITTLE bit of rot, the entire plant was affected and could be very dangerous to smoke/use... With this 3rd plant, I chopped it and threw it in a trash bag... then saw the picture of the strawberries, had second thoughts, and pulled everything out of the trash bag (leaving the rotten bud in there!)... so now I'm trimming her up - it's pretty early but the trichs were all pretty milky so it's not going to be a TOTAL waste of time... but I'd really appreciate your thoughts and what you did when you encountered it!

Bau der Pflanze doch ein kleines Treibhaus, z.B. aus einem transparenten Eimer.
So schaffst Du ein Mikroklima und kannst zumindest während der Veg die Temperatur erhöhen.

@Kolibri, i had thought of doing that but in the end decided against - simply because I didn't have all the materials needed and literally no time with everything else I have to do! So I'm transporting them inside at night and putting them in their own tent - working out REALLY well... day time temps get to 75 or so which is nice ... and the temps inside the tent at night are about the same. I actually want lower temps at night when they get to flower as I'm told this is the way to really bring out the purple in any purple strain....

@Wyregrasser, yeah - last summer was a bitch! But I also think I did some things wrong.... I had never grown outside before and didn't appreciate the importance of a really HUGE pot (to keep the roots cool) .. Going to try it again this summer but with a whole different plan of attack.... Good luck with your efforts.... I'm having a hard time trying to figure out WHEN to start mine... climate change is just mucking up all those kinds of calculations... (along with mucking up a lot of other things!)
