July 3rd
- tea is brewing for a long awaited dinner. Day 8 since last meal, granted it was a Run-off inducing event.
- growth is even across the plant
- plant fed 1 gallon full spectrum nutes, meal 1 in the cycle: meal / meal / water
- soil amended with 2” of Worm Castings and watered through the new substrate
- Volume of run-off to be measured.
4th
- after waiting a week for the soils moisture level to drop, it did it over-nite, and went from Med moisture to Bottom of the scale Dry, in One evening. Glad I was ready, patience rocks !!
- plant fed 1 gal
- happy to see the Zamaldelica colour has shifted away from Yellow to a healthy Green since coming indoors
- gonna see a jump this week now that it's been fed
July 5th
- there is a pest strip in the soil, and I am still finding lots of White spots or Marks on the leaves of the Zamaldelica. When the leaf is flipped-over there are no insects visible anywhere. Does anybody know what the White Marks are on the leaves; Thanks
July 7th
- main-lite changed in tent. Small lite was running at reduced power. Big Lite is more efficient at Low Power, with higher PAR value. Hope the plant(s) jump !!
9th
- fed 2.5 L meal last night, flower microbes etc.
@LegacyMarketFarm, Thanks for that clarification. It makes complete sense on the “Less Material” removed angle… and a “quicker recovery” !
How civil
Thanks Andrew
@1Right_Angle,Topping is the removal of that whole top node under the crown. F.I.M is named as kind of a joke reference to that. like I went to top my plant but F*ck I missed. By removal of the crown growth we acomplish the same goal as topping with less plant matter being removed & allowing them to recover more quickly.
I might actually try this training next time I F.I.M the autos in the next series, Imagine doing a sea of green, F.I.M once early then spread the two new apex growth locations out like this it could be a really quick way to create big yielding plants.
@1Right_Angle, I think it is also a great joint effort of 2 people sharing information and improving upon it which is what this whole cannabis community should be like. We could learn so much more about this plant and how best to grow it together.
@CombatCat, Best Wishes on that project. And it truly sounds like a great pairing, with Durban P being a Highlight strain already. My mouth is watering on this one. Zamaldelica, A smell I have not ever experienced before. Within 3 weeks this one will be close to Ripeness. Thanks for stopping in.
Great job & great post crop review. This is how we continue to evolve our game every round, A true grower in every sense of the word. Class act my friend
@1Right_Angle, Just the beginning my friend. You got all the facets of someone who will continue to better his product each and every round. Your outdoor skills are just crazy and indoor are expanding each and every round with noticeable improvements every time. Legacy Market Farm East will always open for you to fill the position if you should ever decide.
Almost the end of December 2023 and I’m sticking the other Auto Zamaldelica in a Glass of water…
She will be working with a Tzar Bomba auto while a few Heirloom photo-periods finish-off a long run.
Only curious bit of hard-science is that the lite cycle sucks for them; 10.5hrs of light. Theres Lots of it, just not long periods of it
