June 20th day 29
- holding OFF calling this week FLOWER because of this Hot Soil escapade.
- plant was fed a dilute mix of Root-friendly products; 750ml
- this week will provide the window of whats coming down the pipe
- affected fan leaves removed
** considering it was Not an Option at the start of the Season… I am moving Zamaldelica “Back into the soon to be, 12 hour tent”. With Phot-period Colombian Gold being held-back for an indoor grow, there is no better opportunity than to capture some of that Stable Environment. A few days of 14/10 won’t hurt. Next week the Lighting is officially 12/12; a total bonus
June 21
- this plant has transitioned into the Indoor environment really well. Its pulled through the hot soil and Pistils are growing on the 4 Colas.
- fed last nite, a teaser really of 500ml is all that was left after Colombian Gold Chugged the reservoir…
23rd
- main colas were seperated easily by the scrog and now the plant is evenly laid out. Lowered slightly in height, we’re all good
24th
- brewing a batch of Bloom Tea for tomorrow’s breakfast. She needs a solid meal.
- Soil amending etc etc. here is the switch from Veg to Flower with this strain! Living Soil compost applied, Dried and crumbled fan leaves, Kelp Meal and Bloom Ferts scratched-in ahead of the Meal
- watering to Run-off
@LegacyMarketFarm, Thanks for that clarification. It makes complete sense on the “Less Material” removed angle… and a “quicker recovery” !
How civil
Thanks Andrew
@1Right_Angle,Topping is the removal of that whole top node under the crown. F.I.M is named as kind of a joke reference to that. like I went to top my plant but F*ck I missed. By removal of the crown growth we acomplish the same goal as topping with less plant matter being removed & allowing them to recover more quickly.
I might actually try this training next time I F.I.M the autos in the next series, Imagine doing a sea of green, F.I.M once early then spread the two new apex growth locations out like this it could be a really quick way to create big yielding plants.
@1Right_Angle, I think it is also a great joint effort of 2 people sharing information and improving upon it which is what this whole cannabis community should be like. We could learn so much more about this plant and how best to grow it together.
@CombatCat, Best Wishes on that project. And it truly sounds like a great pairing, with Durban P being a Highlight strain already. My mouth is watering on this one. Zamaldelica, A smell I have not ever experienced before. Within 3 weeks this one will be close to Ripeness. Thanks for stopping in.
Great job & great post crop review. This is how we continue to evolve our game every round, A true grower in every sense of the word. Class act my friend
@1Right_Angle, Just the beginning my friend. You got all the facets of someone who will continue to better his product each and every round. Your outdoor skills are just crazy and indoor are expanding each and every round with noticeable improvements every time. Legacy Market Farm East will always open for you to fill the position if you should ever decide.
Almost the end of December 2023 and I’m sticking the other Auto Zamaldelica in a Glass of water…
She will be working with a Tzar Bomba auto while a few Heirloom photo-periods finish-off a long run.
Only curious bit of hard-science is that the lite cycle sucks for them; 10.5hrs of light. Theres Lots of it, just not long periods of it
