Stella’s Trio

10/12/22 I started this grow by planting 3 seeds. From those three, one turned out to be male and went the way of the Dodo into the trash. The other two were of different cultivars, one being the mother of the plants cared for, mistreated at times, but undoubtedly loved here in Stella’s Cuatro/Trio. The mistreated is from me destroying #4, hence the change to Stella’s Trio, and nearly destroying #3. A lot has happened during this grow that has kept me from completing the harvest till way, way after it began; but I won’t bring all that up again. If you’ve followed this diary, then you already know the drama that ensued. This report is going to be somewhat different than my other diary harvest reports, and for that I apologize. This won’t be as detailed as my previous submissions, but will still contain all the data necessary to complete it nonetheless. Harvest began partially on 8/27/22 after the damaged parts of #3 were harvested, dried, and put in jars to cure. I made reports to this effect and uploaded pics at that time. I finished the rest of #3 that survived the assault a week later, finishing it up on 9/6/22. Just after this, on 9/9/22, I got smashed in the face by a softball and got pretty messed up. Broken nose, shattered bone along the bridge of my nose, black eyes, swollen face, couldn’t breathe well for the next 10 days. Had to have surgery to fix the damage. It sucked, and put me farther behind. I didn’t start #2 until 9/16/22, and didn’t finish till 9/20/22. Then, I didn’t do a damn thing for two weeks. I fell into a short funk and didn’t want to do anything! I mean nothing, and I’m not only referring to my plants. I felt such dread at even continuing, until I finally said enough and just got to #1. I didn’t finish harvesting #1 until 10/10/22. I allowed #1 to dry, and die on the tree. It was completely dry when I cut and trimmed the branches which made my trim bag look like a bag of weed itself. Once I finished trimming #1, I simply separated her nugs from her branches and jarred them up to start curing. They’re probably cured a little already, but at least now they are rejoined with their sisters, and mother sitting in quart sized mason jars. As I mentioned before, this report is going to be somewhat different from my previous harvest reports in that I didn’t get the wet weight for all of my plants this grow because the harvest was so erratic. All I can do is give the dry bud, or true harvest weights for each plant, then total as a whole. The total harvest (bud) weight of #3 was : 2.467 ounces. The total harvest (bud) weight of #2 was: 3.138 ounces. The total harvest (bud) weight of #1 was: 2.912 ounces. Therefore, the final harvest weight of Stella’s Trio is: 8.517 ounces. I can’t even begin to describe the feeling of relief that came over me once this diary was completed! Honestly, this grow tested my limits of sanity one too many times, and in the end resulted in my Cuatro being reduced to a Trio. I could have easily had at least another 2.5-3 ounces if #4 had survived, but 🤷‍♂️. What’s one to do? I am very pleased at how all of the bud turned out. It all smells wonderful, and has provided enough for many good nights out on the deck after a hard, difficult, trying day. I only have Stella’s Duo to harvest now, and then my garden will be empty for a well deserved break before the next batch begins.
