Started flower timer on thursday 02.06 as i started to see pthose white hairs appearing! Good week, lots of new fan leaves after complete defoliation and topping. in week 2. Accidently topped it with my elbow while i was doing some LST on the lady next to her, so i just shred off all fan leaves as an experiment i have seen on youtube.. She recovered really good, but she is 1 week behind her sisters now, (they were all at the same stage before topping and defoliation). Seeing a slight nitrogen toxicity, hope it will recover without needng to flush, If it is better to just do a flush once i see some yellow tips and dark leaves, i will be happy to get some guidance and pointers in comments! Doing 6.5 ph on all waterings and feeds, and PPFD is on 450.
Seems like she is having a nitrogen toxicity. Could anyone confirm? Real green fan leafs, some yellow/burnt tips. Dont have Ec pen yet. Would it be best to just flush rght away, or wait and see for a couple of days? Will a proper done flushing harm the plant?
B-52 is worth trying, but keep in mind it has 2-1-4 NPK. Also, get TDS or EC meter asap. You need to make a test solution with the same concentration of nutrients you give her and check ppm. Should be 800 max since your plant is small. Without LST it would be 30 cm max I guess. I would say you need to give less nitrogen. Just little less. Switching to flowering fertiliser with lower N will help. I could calculate your ppm without TDS meter if you want, just pm me. But we don’t know how much nutes stay in soil.
Another thought: I don’t know if you ever watered till runoff either. That’s important to allow some salts to wash away. And finally, what’s your watering schedule? It’s hard to overwater if you give only 500 ml per day at this stage. Fabric pot also helps soil to dry out very quickly. It’s better to water thoroughly till runoff but not frequently. I used to water 4L at least till I get 20% runoff, and wait about 3-4 days until the pot becomes light. When soil dries out, the nutes stay in. And she has to take in all that stuff with the next watering if you feed continuously. This way concentration of nutes in soil raises up and your plant eat too much. So runoff when watering is really good thing. Flushing, TDS meter and proper NPK diet could help here. But first, please let me know your watering schedule and do you feed continuously or every other watering?
09.06 - First week of flower is now done, and she looks really happy after the feeding i gave her earlier today. Since i flushed them last week and thanks to alot of help from a growmie all my plants survived and made it to week 6 from seed! I did some LST after the feed today and she is already bouncing up, might have to take her for another spin before i go to bed.
10.06 - Growing good and healthy! Did some LST last night, and think i would need to do another round tonight.
11.06 - Did some small LST today mostly leaf tucked. She is growing good now, can see more pistils from her shoots:)
12.06 - More LST today, probably need another round tonight. She seems to be light on the lift now so soon time for another feed.
13.06 - Gave her a feed of the same sollution listed, she have been light to the lift a couple of days now, just wanted to see how far it took her to dry out. She started to wilt today, so i figured she was ready!
14.06 - Tied her down and leaftucked:)
15.06 - Last doy of week 2 in flower! Leaf tucked as she have grown alot over night!
16.06.22 - Did some leaf tucking, lowered lights to 70cm above top-canopy on 100%. PPFD is now 650-700, Lets see if they can handle it:) Removed all the LST ties as she already got the structure. might tie her down again if she gets out of controll:)
17.06.22 - Fed her today, and the runoff values was twice as much as the feed on ppm. Feed Values is : 610 ppm, 6.5 PH. Fed with 3.5L and had 0.6L runoff. Runoff values : ppm - 1200, PH - 6.2.
Also tied down 4 main branches since they grew a lot faster than the other shoots. She has a nice structure now i think, with lots of shoots!^^
21.06.22 - She seems to thrive, increased lights from 650-700 to ppfd 700-750.
22.06.22 - Gave her a feeding today with a 0.5ml/L of plagron bloom, plagron grow, calmag, b-52, and 0.1ml/L plagron sensation. Ph 6.4, PPM - 356. 6L water feed with runoff 1,4L. Runoff ppm - 1020.
Hopefulley 1 more feed with 300-400 ppm and they will maybe stabilize with this high runoff
24.06.22 - Did some minor leaf tucking. She reacted to the light, with some minor lburnt tips, so i moved it back up to 65 cm fro cannopy, 700-735 ppfd around canopy tops.
27,06.22 - Did a feed with 4L ph 6.5 and ppm 500, runoff 0.8L and 1100ppm.
28.06.22 - Did some minor leaf tucking the last days, but not much else to be done as she got a pretty even canopy all around.
29.06.22 - Did some leaf tuck, and took some pics outside tent.
30.07.22 - Started week 5 of flower with a pre water to measure current ppm to see how much she has used, and also to see how much i then can give her next. I waterd her with 5L water to get some runoff to measure, ph 6.3 and added some hydrogen peroxide to help roots breathe. I measured 395ppm this time - the 1100 from last runoff, i guess i can safely give her a 7-800ppm feed tomorrow. ppfd is still 730 around canopy tops.
02.07.22 - Just fed her with some nutes, 5L water, PH-6.2, PPM 820. Runoff was 1L and ppm was 810 PH-6.4. Hope i fed her in time, dont know if they stress if they starve but she seems fine for now:)
03.07.22 - Ppfd still 730, not much Else happening with her today.
04.07.22 - Got some high humidity issues because of the weather + i watered all 4 recently. I turned the AC on heat to dry out and raise the temp so the vpd is fine. Currently 27 celsius and 69% humidity, will try to stay on 29 temp and 65% humidity to hit that 1.40 vpd.
07.07.22 - She is now fattening up on those buds, i love her structcture and very excited to see how this one will perform against her sisters. ppfd is 750 around canopy tops.
09.07.22 - Fed her with solution listed in diary, ppm 840, runoff was 1440. Forgot i fed her last time. So i ph corrected 4L with ph corrected water 6.1. And hydrogen peroxide, had a runoff on 2L and runoff ppm was 750. Hope she did not take too much stress from my mistake.
10.07.22 - She seems to be fine after my mistake from yesterday. Have been having some trouble with humidity the last 2 days, so i decided to run lights 24/7 and increase AC temp to reduce humidity and raise temp to reach a good vpd for flower. Had humidity on 80%+ on lights out and temps on 18-20 celsius. But it seem to have normalised now so i willl return to 18/6 today and check on them during lights out.
12.07.22 - The smell was getting too intense, reeked in the whole appartment, and even outside the front door. And my 4 inch carbon filter and fan was running full speed. I just pray that my neighbors are allergic to pollen or something. I was afraid of this to happen, so i got myself a upgraded version some weeks ago, 6inch carbon filter set from Spider Farmer! I got it up today, and used some odour block to help rinse the air in the other rooms. Im running it at lowest now and it is better than the smaller one when it is at full speed:)
13.07.22 - Watered her with feed today, ppm 777, ph 6.3 9L. Runoff 2,4L ppm 1100.
15.07.22 (D71) - Going to have to tend to the plants on night from now on, the smell is so intense once i open the tent, luckily i bought a odour block from RQS, and it works really good to remove the smell in the appartment after im done with my work inside the tent! ( recommend the strawberry one, the other one smells like public toilet).
16.07.22 (D72) - She is drinking alot now compared to her sisters, but then again she is twice the size. Not much else happening with her.
17.07.22 (D73) - Watered her again 01.00, with 7L water, ppm 40, pure zym 1ml/L, PH 6.4. Runoff 1.5L, ppm : 675, PH 6.6.
19.07.22 (D75) - High temps today, but managed to controll the humidity to be vpd approved for flower stage.
20.07.22 (D76) - Watered her with feed today, 7L ppm 796, PH 6.4. Runoff ppm 960, 1,5L, 6.4 PH.
22.07.22 (D78) - Not much happening other then growing in width.
24.07.22 (D80) - Gave her a watering with ph 6.5, ppm 40, 1ml/l pure zym from plagron and 8L water, had 2,6l runoff with 421ppm and 6.7 ph
25.07.22 (D81) - Rainy weather makes it hard to keep humidity down, so i raised the temps to get correct vpd.
29.07.22 (D85) - Watered her with the sollution listed. Gives npk 9-15-24. ppm 756, ph 6.4. 10L. Runoff 3L, ph 6.4, ppm 850. ppfd 750 above canopy.
01.08.22 (D88) - Watered her with 9l water, ppm 40, pure zum 1ml/l, ph 6.4. Runoff 2.5l, ph 6.7 ppm 235. She had used alot of nutes from last watering. So i decided to give her another dose right away so she does not starve. Gave her same solution as last time. 739 ppm, 6.4 ph, 10L. Runoff : ppm 639, ph 6,6, 9L. Hope she does not take too much stress from this much watering.
gently pull apart and see if anythin fuzzy growing at base of those dead sugar leaves... you'll know soon enough.
any sort of yellow or brown discoloration is a sign too. could be white and fuzzy underneath if it is early in proces.s. think it can be grey and mushy later on.
