What I thought were calcium deficiency spots turned out to be rust spots. Trimmed off theleaves that were showing signs of rust and sprayed the whole thing down with copper fungicide.
Topped them kosher Kush again today and sprayed a mixture of Fulvic acid to stimulate growth, copper antifungal for the rust and finally Dr earths final stop to keep any bugs away. Had to feed a little extra grow big and calmag to the critical+. She's a hungry one.
The Critical+ on the left is still having some fungus issues so I've started both feeding silica and a silica foliar spray along with the fungus spray I was already using. The kosher kush is doing fine although it has a small amount of nutrient burn.
Scrog is going fairly well. Plants are filling out nicely. They're showing signs of nutrient burn so I'll be giving them nothing but pH water and silica.
Had signs of extreme nitrogen deficiency in the critical+ so I gave them a large feeding of nutes in one watering and in the next a large dose of Calmag.
Bent down some more branches and these are starting to fill up the tent. Debating on flipping to flower August 1st or 15th. If they fill up the tent by the 1st and are in good health the. I'll flip them but I think I'm gonna end up waiting until the 15th.
Gonna flip to flower on the first after getting some humidity packs. It's been raining every day for weeks and it's not supposed to stop for at least another week here so it's extremely humid every where here.
Had a minor issue with my scrog so I ended up rearranging the branches in the scrog so the canopy gets better light coverage. Found a little rust again but I quickly removed the leaves and a couple days later and I don't see any more.
Not much to say really. Kosher kush is frosty and smells of mango with a hint of skunk. The critical smells skunky and herby with a touch of mint. Very pleasant overall.
Finally got in some new bloom fertilizer after being out for a few weeks. They'll probably only get fed this week and next and flush for the last few days.
The night temps have gotten down into the 40s so as a result these girls have been showing quite a bit of color. Lost a top bud off the critical+ to some bud rot but I caught it early enough that I haven't seen any more on any other buds. Around 30% of the trichomes are still showing clear so harvest won't be for another week or 2.
Both flowers have turned purple in an amazing way. The trichomes are now showing very little clear trichomes at all so I might be able to harvest to dry by the end of this week. I can't wait.
It's going to be well below freezing in 2 days and it's supposed to last too long to let these ripen any further. They're about ready to harvest anyway so I'm not upset about it. It smells like an odd mix of mango, lemon, skunk, and a smell reminiscent of gasoline. It's a pleasant if not confusing scent to say the least.
Not the biggest plant in the world but a heavy producer. The buds are dense and covered and trichomes and now they have a wonderful purple color to them. It smells like lemon, mango, and gasoline. It's far more pleasant than it sounds.
Kosher kush is an easy to grow, potent, and hearty. The colors at the end were wonderful. Can't wait to see how much it weighs after it's done drying and is trimmed up.
No skunky smell at all! It stinks in an almost chemical mixed with diesel kind of way. The high is fantastic though. A very pleasant mix of head and body.
@Seedsman, Love all you wonderful people at seedsman. I got the kosher on seedsman as well. My next grow is going to be your Gelat.Og and I can't wait.
Looks amazing and exactly how I am hoping to shape my next grow, love the canopy outlay, looking forward to the Critical results as it's my next grow & 1st photo, may your harvest be a bounty my friend! 👍
