7/2 - Germinated 4 GSC seeds in 18 hours! Soaked them for 18 hours and then moved to paper towel method. Planted germinated seeds at 4:20, hopefully that's a good sign!
7/3 - No sign yet. I didnt think there would be, but it would have been very cool to sprouut the next day.
7/13 - Tragedy.....lost all 4 to high pH in the bargain brand bullshit coco that the local grow shop pushed. I should have checked it and thats on me. Lesson learned, trust no one. Not even the professionals, fuck, dont trust me either!! lol
Planted 1 more GSC and it sprouted!!!! So Im going to keep it. This will be a single plant grow diary, FML. Nah, Im playing. I started 4 Gelato Autos and Im gonna do those in a different diary since theres an age difference.

7/17 - GSC is the lone survivor of a horrible couple of germinations. The first 4 were lost to high pH in the grow medium. The second set of 4 all germinated, but only 1 sprouted for unknown reasons. So, here we are. 1 week in and I have to say, I am not impressed with the growth. It is healthy and that is about all I can really say about it. We will see what the coming weeks bring for the veg cycle. Hopefully, this one wont be in a hurry to flower.
7/26 - Week 2 of GSC Lonely Girl Grow! Shes starting to get bigger, but my impression is that this is NOT going to be a big plant at all. Most likely, there will not be a large yeild. Ill do the best I can! The height is staying nice and low and currently, its as tall as its 1 week old sisters!
8/1 - Rough growing here! I overwatered them badly and now I have hardened, cupped leaves that are showing signs of nutrient deficiency. From what I read, the deficiency symptoms are exaggerated because of overwatering and most likely have no nutritional problems. Airing pots out with fan on high. Tilted pots to give air flow to the bottom. No water till tomorrow.
8/7 - The lone GSC is growing painfully slow. I probably stunted it more than I know by overwatering it since sprout. Coco vs. soil. Im in soil and its dense soil. Crazy slow growth but Im still hopeful.
8/13 - Flowering has begun and lots of stretching happening. Healthy green all over. I am looking forward to how this plant finishes. It was a rough start but now it's looking great!
8/21 - Still not too happy with the growth of this plant. Not very large, slow growing, and just underwhelming. I hope the bud quality makes up for that. I definitely had my part in its growth issues, I overwatered horribly for weeks. It is what is is. You dont know it till you grow it!
8/27 - More good growth has happened. The plant is starting to redeem itself for being so slow and puny. The cola formations are starting to fill in nicely!
9/3 - I am starting to come around to this strain. It has been a bump ride but it looks like it going to finish solidly. Small compact buds are all over and look like they will connect soon.
9/11 - Im royally screwing up these plants! I forgot the golden rule for autos and over fed them. I have flushed twice in the last week with Yucca root extract to loosen up the media and hopefully flush all the bad crap. Pretty sure theres enough food in the soil to last another 4 weeks. Gonna only feed high phosporous tea and hope for the best.
9/17 - GSC is finally stacking up. Frost is coming on and all trichomes are milky now. Debating on when to chop. No amber yet at all, so theres time for sure.
The plant did well near the end, but didn't thrive during veg. Overall, a decent plant with medium harvest. I would have liked a bigger yeild, but that may be on me.
GSC hang drying in a cool place. Fingers crossed for 10 day dry! About 50-60% RH and 68-70°F. This will be my first hang dry. I've only used hanging mesh drying rack before. We will see.
I love the effort you've put into presentation. I'm also doing GSC from WSE right now. I'll be following your grow and I'd love if you dont mind heading over to my diaries for a look, I've not been as artistic as yourself, but the plants are going hard!
Best of luck with this grow and all the best wishes in general.
