FC-E6500 Scrog

❤️🌱 We decided to document the flowering cycle of this monster for posterity.. she's been in veg for about 16 weeks, it shouldn't have taken this long but we dropped the table on her late in development so she needed a few weeks to repair..today is her very first day of flower... we're currently using x2 top end CMH 3100ks but placed an order last week for the FC-E6500 by MarsHydro to replace both 🤘🐱..that light and this plant should turn into something magical.. my hubby gets most the credit for this beast but we're a team so I'll share lmao 😸.. the scrog table is 3.5x3.5, homemade with 1/2 PVC, screws and twine..it's a tight squeeze in the 4x4 but looks great to me... thanks for dropping by and happy harvests everyone!! ❤️💡🌱

This plant has been eating a ton, we feed with every watering now and there's been no protest..if fact we may increase due to light shade. The FC-E6500 is an absolute beast of a light, I'm so happy my husband finally made the purchase for us..with lower power consumption and higher yields; this light will pay for itself shortly. We've been talking about also getting a 5x5 so we can utilize its full light footprint... ..You might notice a cheap "blurple" LED hanging from the scrog table,we hung it there to add some weight. If its not clear to tell from the photos, this plant is completely overgrown, we definitely let this go for far too long but I'm excited to see what kind of yield we'll get (this is our highest yielding strain by far).. I would be shocked by anything less than 1lb.. We've had the FC-E6500 at 50-75% for the first 2 weeks of flower, we're leery on distance still and didn't want to chance burning but with no signs of stress we decided to move it up to 100% today and we'll monitor colesly for a few days.. My husband thinned her out a bunch the other day too; he removed 2 large armfuls of foliage from above and below the wire again, this will be the last time we do it.. we love this new MarsHydro FC-E6500, the price was very reasonable for what it is...it has a 5x5 footprint so we figured it would do an incredible job in a 4x4, this will be our first grow under it ❤️💡🌱 ... The scrog is a little uneven, we could of done a better job weaving to maintain a more even canopy but spilled milk lol, she should still give us well over a lb of herb! We're still trying to dial in the FC-E6500, the lit. we found says 12" and to adjust the dimmer through the stages of plant development..we were at 12"/75-80%, this was too much light..we were starting to yellow pretty good..we're now at 13" and approx 55% power and have been there for about 3 days now, she looks much healthier..we plan on leaving the dimmer here for another week before incrementally increasing it to finish the last 2-3 weeks near or at 100%.. This light was an amazing purchace, our temps are noticeably lower in that room since replacing all HID fixtures, we couldn't be happier ❤️🌱 We're thinking maybe 5 more weeks left on this plant, hopefully we can keep it together until the end..this is officially the largest plant we've attempted to flower indoors, we're excited to share how things evolve.. My husband and I defoliated again the other day, we did this to expose every bud to direct light and to remove any light damaged leaf so we can track how the new growth looks.. but despite this hiccup her buds are fattening up super fast, she looks a little beyond the 5th week of flower imo but iv'e noticed this is usually the case whenever we flower super old plants (anyone else notice this?) .. There's really not too much else to report, it's been an effortless week.. I'm so excited to see the final outcome of this plant, we may actually put in the effort of weighing buds this time lmoa.. (6.5) of flower and these buds are getting very heavy.. This is our densest strain. Some of the larger stems had to be readjusted and secured to the net to prevent them from falling over, I have a feeling keeping everything upright will be a real fight near the end.. lesson learned, we probably wont wait this long again with our scrogs or if we do we'll invest in some hanging fans to strengthen.. The buds on this strain are rock hard, the FC-E6500 was a great investment, this plant did great under it (A++ MarsHydro!!) ..we're really excited to chop this plant down. My husband has a trim job on his hands lol.. we'll be giving her water only (and lots of it) from now until we dry her out completely for harvest..
