Hi and thanks for dropping by!
This is a posting to critique seed breeders. and the quality of their seeds Nothing I cracked was less than $100 a pack (6 or 10). The seeds range in age from 1.5 yrs (Archive Biohazard) to 3 months old (Wolf Pack Selections - Comprende), The others are 6-9 months old. All are kept in unopened original packaging, then sealed (with a few rice grains) in air-tight, Food Saver bags. In a low humidity drawer in my fridge.
They all soaked in water for 12 hours then moved to paper towel for 36-48 hrs. Everything was the same and all 8 seeds rooted.
Archive was BY FAR the longest roots, and the first to grow and break the soil. They were the oldest seeds, but the most ready to go.
Wolf Pack Selections also had nice roots, but they were brand new seeds, so they get no "extra credit".
LIT Farms (expensive seeds) had ok roots, not great. They both had problems shedding the seed shells, and look feeble next to Archive and WPS.
Relentless Genetics (expensive seeds) had tiny roots, to this point, only 1 has sprouted and it didn't open properly, without help. Haven't seen the other one yet, it may be lost.
I figured if I crack 2 seeds I should get something ok to good from at least 1. To be paying 200 (+) for a pack of seeds and have 2 seeds in a pack like Relentless put out - they should be ashamed. I will continue to monitor and follow up to confirm, but for now, relentless genetics suck. Purchase at your own risk.
Have a great week!
