Adios muchachos

I'm entering this diary late into my grow of Mexican airlines auto from fastbuds . I've been unable to keep up with the diary due to excess strain to my daily schedule which has since remedied itself so im excited to start back with grow diaries.

This strain really began looking like a purr sative once flowering started. As you will see in upcoming weeks it'd unmistakable plus a good stretch

From about 24 days to 30 days of flowering this strain went crazy with growth gaining over 15 inches in height in about 6 days. It's really looking like pure sativa which im excited about considering having grown alot of autos recently I've not had one that wasn't at least showing 50% plus indica characteristics

Starting to put some density on the buds. Should really see it next entry

As you can see it's maturing nicely. These pics are 40 days into flower. Can't wait to see them after about 60 days

So happy with the auto seeds from Fastbuds. I received the package in less than a week which compared to the previous seedbank I used is 21 days faster. The strain pretty much develops exactly like the description says on the site. The previous seedbank had excellent genetics also but overseas takes way longer

I included several pics of plant 2 which is also Mexican airlines auto from Fastbuds. As you can see it's smaller but the buds are fat and dense. Bother are looking and smelling wonderful. To me at first like coffee finishing bubble gumish. Plan on 20% decrease in nutrients over these last several feedings so I can try a longer slower flush

Buds continue to fatten up. I halfway expected to start seeing some hairs beginning to turn but that hasn't happened. Trichome color has definitely gotten more cloudy and the smell has released started to increase. Really nice pungent citrus aroma with a hint of bubble gum if you just graze the flowers with a hand.day 50 in flower. Plant 1 and plant 2 clearly different with one looking pure sativa and the other showing some indica influence. I like that of the two seeds I planted I got one of each. Can't wait to see and feel any differences among the two plants.

Trichome color is cloudy but still very little change in pistil color. Starting to smell wonderful and loud.

Only water for flushing from now until harvest. Both plants 1&2 seem to have around 50% cloudy trichomes as well as half of the hairs have turned. I plan to make my next entry the harvest as long as things continue to go the way they have been for the past 2 weeks. I expect to harvest within the next 7 to 10 days. I'm thinking about making 2 harvest on each plant about 7 days apart just to give the lower buds a chance to fatten up a little.

I got 2 different phenos from the 2 seeds of Mexican airlines auto flower from Fastbuds I germinated. Plant1 was 100 $ sativa in every way. Long skinny leaves upright grow structure with large but less dense buds than any other strain I've grown. Absolutely total sativa flower shape. Covered in trichomes and I ended up with close to 3.5 ounces dry flower from plant 1. Plant 2 showed a little more of a hybrid structure as Dae a plant shape and flower structure. These buds are denser but plant 2 delivered 1.8 ounces dry flower which was far less than the plant 1 pheno. Both plants were easy grows and in the end are everything Fastbuds said this strain would be. Both plant q and 2 despite one having displayed significant more of a hybrid pheno produce a pure sativa high. Energetic head buzz great yo wake and bake and listening to music. You get lost in polyphia after a few bong hits. The best thing about this strain is the aroma and flavor. It's the first strain I've grown that really has that old school hash taste to go with the strong citrus and vanilla taste and smell. I will definitely grow this strain again. I do think you should use 5 gal pots rather than 3 gal. I always use 5 gal when I grow photoperiod seeds but decided to drop to 3 gal with the autos mainly because I read alot of articles recommending 3 gal so I went with them especially since I was expanding my room from 9 to 12 ft2. Anyway I should have considered the sativa parentage and the length of the grow cycle and then I would have used the 5 gallon pots. If you growing a fast infica leaning auto then 3 gal might be ok but not for the heavy leaning sativa autos. I grew 2 weeks longer than the description of the strain said the flower cycle would be and my roots were needing room long before the 2 extra weeks came.
