Strain
Buds turned out well. A little airy, more dense at the top, but as it goes down the plant she gets a little airy (This is down to the mad lighting schedule i had them on. They ran most their lives under a 100w, which hampered her end push near fattening i should of put it under the 300w while she was still in pre flower Waited too long, was used in late fattening and ripening stage) So, I've no doubt when I run her again. I'll get different bud structure. Not high enough ppfd, throughout her whole life.. But, the bud, wow, the smell is so overwhelming. It fills my dry room. Has yet to be cured to get true smell. But, what is there. Are big buds, with purple, pink hues that give of an scent that stinks of fruits. 'Many different types'. Mainly at the moment it has a light musky earthy smell, but an overpowering smell of berries. With hues of citrus in the background. And a very very light diesel hint, (maybe I'm mixing this up with the earthy scent). I'll have more on the smell profile once I set a cure upon it. Then, I'll give true smoke report. But, from the pen. Your mouth is filled with bursts of many fruits, has a nice earthy musky taste that is very pleasurable on the pallet. The smoke thus far, is soft on the inhale+exhale. (Haven't smoked a joint yet. So, maybe that'll be different. But, I'm putting into down to been so sweet and soft on smoking, cause she has little to no THC) So, in a way, it's exactly what you'd expect from a 100% CBDV plant.
(CURING METHOD) For the 1st 10 days or so, jars will be opened twice a day. To let out any residual moisture left. And, then as the weeks go on will be opened once every 2 days and after 1 week. I let my jars cure a week a time before opening. This weed wasn't overdried. Still a nice bit of moisture left to her.
SMELLS before cure: Fruits: Sweet, Berries, earthy, Citrus and a light hint of diesel. (Maybe mistaken for plant, earthy smell, or has its not been cured, its very hard to get certain smells, berrie smell is so strong I might be getting the diesel smell from. But it has some punch. And it tastes lovely in my vape pen. And so relaxing and calming. It really is a strain I aim to master. Next will be DWC for this baby. Kannabia wants me to run a few other strains for them, so, next stop, 4 of their highest THC females. Looking forward to trying these babies out.
I have harvest dry weight. But won't me updating it until I get a 2-3 wk cure so I can get defined smells for this girl.
Shout out to my rep from Kannabia. Thanks very much buddy. Look forward to seeing what this beauty has yet to give in way of scent and taste
41.5G of dry bud - all stems and 90% of trim
BUDS. Are glistening and very sticky. As I've explained I kinda had issues that led me change things a lot. And definitely had an impact on the bud structure. But, I'm very happy with what's there.
