Experimenting with FPE (fermented plant extracts) & BAS Coconut Power in the reservoir for an extra boost for these plant's last hoorah here in the last few weeks of flower. Using anything in the reservoir besides water is risky due to the possible buildup of anaerobic bacteria, but I've been using LABs (lactic acid bacteria) in conjunction with the coconut powder in the reservoir at the rate of 1oz x 1 Gal with great success. I mainly think the reason the LABS can be used in the reservoir is its ability to survive in anaerobic environments and actually outcompete some of the less desirable microorganisms. Generally Fermented plant extracts use lactic acid bacteria to help release enzymes and beneficial bacteria from organic matter. Due to the nature of this consisting of LABS I've decided to use it once a week at the rate of 10ml x 1 Gal. in my reservoir to give and extra boost for the plants. So far the response has been positive and I will continue to monitor the plants. Anyways the grow is going phenomenal and I'm just sitting back and letting these ladies do they're thing looking about 2/3 weeks till harvest
@Louder, I haven't once checked PH or ppms, it's a truly fascinating way to grow & Buildasoil really makes it plug and play in regards to setting up a living soil. The initial financial investment was high, but in turn I felt the labor (feedings, waterings) was much simpler than other methods I've used in the past. I appreciate you taking the time and reading my posts.
@Dilphoducus, reading through your posts, it's obvious you've done your research. Is it as much work as it seems? Do you even have to worry about ppms/EC etc?
Nicely done! Those buds look great. I just smoked some Member Berry for the first time this weekend. It was some dispo stuff but it was still decent. I'm gonna have to add this strain to my wish list. It would be fun to try homegrown member berry. Cheers and Happy growing!
@@Permafry, it's a fantastic strain that responds well to training and apparently the source of some of Ethos newer creations (Pink grapefruit/PlanetoftheGrapes)
I've grown this twice now. Once outdoors and once indoors. Don't be scared when she starts to turn purple and shed leaves in flower. She pumps tasty nuggies.
@Dilphoducus, if you check out my current blueberry diary the purple plant beside it is memberberry. Also, throughout my grandpas stash diary you can see her in the back.
Excellent job on this grow, it truly was a pleasure browsing through your weeks and seeing the progression. Nice clean set up as well very professional looking. It looks like some fire as well! Remember sharing is caring๐ and puff puff pass๐. I look forward to seeing your next diary๐ช
