Welcome to growdiaries grow 15. This is the 1st indoor grow of 22/23 season after the summer break. It is still a little warm in my tent room and fairly low with the humidity but I'm expecting that to change in the next few weeks. I have changed things up a little since the last grow, having seen an amazing sea of green grow i have thought about giving that a bit of a go. Using 3.8L fabric pots I could cram 9 plants into the tent 0.6m×0.75m×1.5m. This grow I'm going with just 6 to see if I can keep the plants small and within a certain size for a 9 plant run. I have made a tray to keep the pots from sitting in any runoff when I'm away and it's on autofeed. This grow is going to consist of 6 autoflowers, all different strains split between 2 breeders. Each strain is going to have its own diary. The strains are. #1 AMS ak47 xtrm auto #2 AMS new yourk turbo diesel auto #3 AMS Caramelicious auto #4 Fastbuds cherry cola #5 Fastbuds strawberry gorilla #6 Fastbuds green crack This diary is for the Fastbuds cherry cola auto. Fastbuds have stable genetics so they get half the tent. This strain was one of my prizes for May GOTM. There was a bit of a mistake and I got sent 2 lots of prizes so I have a extra pack of seeds. I'm thinking of running a ***competition*** for UK growers to win the extra pack of cherry cola seeds. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do but it will probably be guess the strains dry weight, I'll start taking answers from around week 8. Germination. Soaked the seed for 12 hours. Then placed seed in moist kitchen roll between 2 plates. 24hrs after placing in kitchen roll a tap root was breaking through the shell so placed it into a solo cup filled with biobizz lightmix. 36hrs after placing in solo cup the seedling had broken ground. 2/9/22 is day 0. Viparspectra xs2000 is set at 38% power and the plant is receiving 12.5 DLI. AC infinity controller set temp max 27c humi max 75% Thanks for stopping by. Take it easy.

The 1st week of the grow is done and I had to transplant the seedling from its solo cup to the 3.8L fabric pot. It was a little early to pot up but there was a possibility I wouldn't be around when they would need it so thought it would be better earlier then later. Up until potting up she has been growing champion, hopefully I didn't stress her to much and she will continue as she has been. The 3.8L pot was filled with lightmix and added 5ml/lL charge. Notes. That's week 2 down. Started the week with the controller set to 26c 70% and no humidifier. Really I should have left the humidifier in there as the weather hasn't changed that much yet. Notes. Day8. That's the 3rd week done. The Cherry Cola has come on loads this week and is shaping up nicely. I cant quite tell if this is going to be bushy or tall plant yet. I'm expecting her to double in height during next week. I don't think I'll be training any of this grow as I really can't see me having the space, so I'll let the plants fight amongst themselves. I have had to start changing the way my grow room works as the season has shifted quite a bit this week. Notes. Day 15. That's the 4th week done for the Cherry Cola. Im definitely thinking she may end up being a tall plant, if thats the case then I'll apply some HST to anything that gets to tall. I removed a lot of lower nodes and other foliage that wasn't receiving much light and to help lower humidity. So far she is doing really good, no real issues at the moment. She has just started preflower, which is about a week earlier then I expected. Notes Day 22 Saturday 24/9/22 Viparspectra xs2000=63% power. #4 H=CM, D=CM, DLI=30, PPFD=417 L, Ec , Ph . I didn't get many pictures this week but the whole grow has come on really well. Have been struggling with high RH that I have managed to get somewhat under control. This week the whole grow has kicked into gear. Unfortunately the grow isn't turning out as I had expected. My original plan was to use these small fabric pots to see if I could grow tiny plants. I'm glad I didn't go with the original plan of squeezing 9 in the tent as these have all grown a lot bigger then I had planned. The Cherry Cola is flowering and has some decent looking amount of flower sites. On day 37 I had to apply some HST on the main cola because I'm running out of height. I kinda over bent this one and snapped it/crushed the internal cell wall so I'm going to have to support this until it gets some strength in the bend. I have gained about 10cm extra height now. I'm quite sure it will be fine in a few days instead of it being floppy. Notes. Day 36 Saturday 8/10/22 Autofeed. 1hrs. Ec 1.45 PH 6.2 Extractor settings. This week has gone well. 6 plants in such a small space is playing havoc with the humidity but I feel I'm just about on it enough not to cause any rot. This week I didn't get any pictures at the end of the week because i have been away. I left the grow on autopilot. Everything was looking fine when I went away and with a bit of luck everything will go according to plan and I won't have many issues to deal with when I get back. I got back near the start of this week and had a mess to clean up. All my fault as I forgot to turn the waste pump timer on at the wall. The grow has done OK really considering its been left to timers to control it. I'm going to invest in some that I can control remotely as there was one feed I could have done without this time. The Cherry Cola is still filling out massively with trichomes, the colour of her is really different then I expected. Bud structure looks like its going to be good, this is probably tied 2nd for nicest looking plant in the grow. ******competition time****** I have an extra pack of 3 seeds of this strain that I'm willing to give away to UK growers. The grow is now at the end of week 11 and its looking good. Some plants are nearly ready so I'll be splitting the nutrient feeds. The Cherry Cola is close maybe another week or two, this is one frosty lady. She is just finishing bulking up. This cherry cola is one fristy bitch, she is just finishing off putting on her final weight and all the trichomes are pretty much cloudy with some amber. I will probably not do another weekly update as she may get harvested before the end of next week, and just do harvest report. Harvest report for cherry cola. Breaking ground to harvest was 91 days. Wet weight was 196 grams Dry weight =39g Power used for 13 weeks. 268.1Kw used on lighting. £80.43 at £0.30 a Kw Average 2.946 Kw a day =147 Watts power an hour during lights on. Dry weight from this grow. #1 49g #2 37g #3 46g #4 39g #5 51g #6 52g Total 273g True g/W 273÷147=1.85g/W This was one great grow and there are a few strains I'm really considering running again straight away. I'm impressed with the amount of trichomes everywhere. One thing I have learnt during this grow is that the idea of cramming 9 autos into my tent was a stupid idea and trialling it with 6 plants was wise.
