Bruce's Babies are cruising along now at day 21 of veg. We're going to keep on tuckin into the screen this week, while continuing to defoliate a bit more so there's room for this proposed 200% stretch. The flip is coming soon, either this weekend or early next week / on the next res change.
On that res topic, we haven't had any more (ahem) floods, and the girls are drinking about a gallon a day at 750ppm. I wasn't really expecting to have to top up midweek, but here we are - and I'm not actually complaining, just surprised.
Things are getting exciting! Every morning new tops are poking through the screen, and the mains are getting thick and really strong. It will definitely be a challenge to keep the stretch under control in the coming weeks!
Temps have been a bit of a challenge, the tent is holding about 10*F above the room/ambient with the driver mounted outside (near the exhaust port) and the x465wPro is running at 75%. Light is at 19" above the screen, and the exhaust fan is blasting at 100% with all lower screen vents open. I'm not really sure what else to do here other than to put a booster fan on one of the 6" intakes, but I'm wide open to ideas...
@DrJones, Thanks bud! they're on averave 4" each, and there's a 2nd layer deeper in the canopy. With all the leaf strips even the popcorn appears to be SOLID chunk!
Beautiful grow every week! I’m doing my first scrog and can’t bring myself to defoliate heavily like you did a few times. Thanks for demonstrating how well they bounce back.
@@@T_Dub, thanks! Scrogging is a lot of work, defoliation isn't as necessary with less plants and more tucking - keep them tight to the screen through the first 2-3weeks from flip and more selective of tops. Mine is over full currently and there will be some significant larf or a 2nd strip and staggered finish. They will always bounce back!
