Okay Okay I'm a bit late with this diary. But the fact of the matter remains is that I curt these clones 1 week before flip to flower. I ended up taking 12. 10 of which rooted. 1 I threw out cause I don't have he space. So overall a nice ratio for cloning. I still got it! :) So after about 2-3 weeks in the dome they were ready to be transplanted. I bought this tent in a hurry and got a small 3x3 with 4 inch duct holes. Paid 180 cdn for the tent from my local hydro shop and 100 for a ventilation system with a carbon filter. Throw in a fan and 9 1.5 gal pots and all in all cost was about 350 cdn to start. I'm going to need a new bail of soil so that would set me around 50. Add in a few fabric 3 gal and less than 450 total is a good deal. Thankfully I have a spare working light shaved off a few hundred bucks. But I'm happy with what I got.
So I am growing what I have in my flower tent which is Mandarin Cookies by Ethos and Dinachem (chemdawg back cross) by Dinafem. The MC rooted very quickly and aggressively. The DC took longer to root. Being that I have yet to smoke any MC this is a good sign of good genetics. It took maybe 4-5 days before the MC started showing roots. I am not just doing this for a rotational crop. I also plan on taking two DC and keeping them in the 3x3 for seed purposes. I am a huge fan of the Dinafem line and since their strains are going away due to the raid I am determined to try and preserve their strains. This will be the test run for the main strain I want to do it later. Which will be a project for next year. But for now I am concerned about making the transplant too late. I'm still waiting for my flower tent to be clear. In its current form my 3x3 won't fit 9 3 gal buckets. So I have to wait until I can get them in a bigger tent. Thankfully there are not a whole lot of roots in my draining holes so I recon I can wait a few more weeks.
I did mostly LST but I did experiment with topping and discovered that the DC's loved to be topped. The MC not so much. Anyways enjoy the shots of the little kids cause they won't be that way for long.
Yes these plants are droopy but it was just before bedtime and the next day I had to water.
