Germination

Germination: wet cotton pads in a zipper plastic bag. That's my third grow, got a much bigger 5x5 tent and a new LSD light. Reminder to myself: NEVER EVER try to grow seedlings in PEAT POTS! If they are covered by humidity domes - they are constantly moist and could get mold. If not covered - they suck all the moisture from the soil! Plus, peat is highly acidic: (pH 3.5-4.5) 26/10/22 A couple of seedlings almost died in 25C/60% conditions after not watering for 24 hours. Withered severly! Repotted immediately.

There are many solutions to get rid of them, but frankly this early on I would just start from the beginning, make sure to clean the space and any equipment to get rid of all, use new soil that you're sure has none and get on with a problem free grow.

Looks like Root Aphids. Root aphids are tiny insects that feed on plant roots. About 1 mm long and ranging in color from yellow to green to brownish-orange, root aphids are often confused with fungus gnats as some adults will grow wings. Now in order to fix this I recommend you treat your plants with neem oil or a pyrethrum-based spray, which will need to be used early during the infestation. You may also water a Spinosad-based insecticide into the soil, or utilize Beauveria, a fungus that contains spores that will attack the root aphids.

31/10/22 4 of the seedlings seem to stop growing, 2 of them look particularly bad. Decided to try to recover them. Washed the roots, pots and changed the soil. Meanwhile, started germination of 2 more seeds.

24/11 Decided not to continue with manifolding (except 2 most vigour plants) to speed up veg stage. Left 4 main branches on each plant and didn’t prune growth sites. Increased Led intensity to 70% Started using nutrients

24/12 Switched to 12/12. Let’s go! Need to reduce humidity, which hits 80-90% at night (daily about 60-70%)! Ordered a dehumidifier.

Didn’t expect the stretch to be so huge given the genetics. Like 10 cm in 3 days! Let’s see. Put in a dehumidifier, trying to reach optimal humidity of 60% for this stage. 02/01 The stretch is really strong. 75 cm by 02/01 04/01 I have been doing just minimal pruning/defoliation during the veg stage. I guess it was the reason why the stretch is so strong as the main colas try to reach the light. And there is a lot of weak side-shoots which make the plants really messy. Did some minor pruning today, because I don’t want to stress the plants much during early flowering. I’m going to remove all the side-shoots in two weeks when the stretch is over. Next time I should do more pruning early, before the flip.

It was cold outside for the last 2 weeks, the temperature dropped to 13C, despite the heater inside the tent. So, that might be the reason why the flowering process is kinda slow

I wonder if it’s possible to tell by these photos: are they ready or not. Have time, can wait, want to get the best quality 😄

To hard to tell from the photos. do you have a jewelers loop or a scope? if not get one. Pretty cheap on amazon. "Most" people look for about 90% cloudy with 10% amber. You want very few if any clear.

The Dwarf was sick from the very beginning because of the shitty peat soil with insects. I didn't think he'll make it, but it did. The buds are beautifully purple! 29/03/2022 stopped drying, started curing
