start of the 6th week.
Lessons learned.
* Prepare the space before getting started. I really just threw them in a closet with a single LED lite.
* waited into the 4th week before topping. should have continued to top the lower nodes.
* NEED MORE LIGHT,
* Have a grow tent on the way that I will use as soon as I get it.
Day 36
seeing some pre-flowering
I am going to keep it at the current light schedule (18/6) for another week, then will try the 12/12 to see if I can get a full flower.
My first grow, so I am anxious to get this to harvest and to get a new grow going.
Day 37
the girls are starting to fill out a little more
Buds are forming on all the nodes

Very nice tent, well made. I'm impressed as I only spend $29.99 on it.
Big improvement, another lesson learned.
Did the basic setup, got the lights and fan going, will decide if I need a fan and filter.

lots of flowering
The tent made a big difference, the girls are filling out and budding
The yield is looking better already.

Turned the light schedule to 14/10
Really starting to bud on all nodes.

Hello ! I agreed with Athos ! When looking at your picture it seems that it is the right time as it seems both of your ladies are pushin the 6th node. ! And acording to me you can put that light closer as 26 watts will make them stretch to catch the light if i is too high ! Hope it will help you 😁👍

If I top the lower nodes, can I get the plant to fill out more? I have improved the set up and the light seems better than what I had earlier.
Pruned the lower branches already. I have a grow tent ordered and will be able to fully enclose the plants in a few days. thanks.

Yes, topping will cause the plant to grow wider/bushier rather than tall/skinny. Good luck 👍

@closetGrow, the four flowering plants are my first grow. they popped thru soil 6/10 (PE) & 6/11(GSC). I have a little experience helping my mother with her past grows but never on my own until now.

your doing great whit what you got ,but maybe foil paper on the sides would give you more light reflection ..(just a thought)

@Tonino, appreciate your info. I walled off the plants in a 3' x 2' box of reflective wall boards, and pruned the bottom branches. The tops look real good, but I realize the light is not optimum. (lessons learned) thanks
