@datguyd, Usually when using dry fertilizers ( like bio tabs ) at correct ammount by the time you are going to flush most of the nutrients have been consumed by the plant ! When you flushing you are removing nutrients in form of minerals ( water soluble ) from the growing medium. The tabs contain both ready to absorb minerals and amendments ( organic matter not water soluble ) that first need to decomposed by the microbes in order to be available in form of minerals . So when you flush if there are any remain minerals will be flushed and if there is some organic matter that hasn't be decomposed yet it will remain to the growing medium. But that's not a problem since its not available for the plant. Although the life in your soil will continue to decompose that organic matter to form minerals but it will not affect your taste because there is not really so much organic matter left in there.
