The branches are pushing out because of weight gain in the buds. I have noticed different style of buds for each different strain. This particular plant puts on a thick, short fat nug the petals look fat and juicy. Gosh, I'm ready. I haven't checked the trikes yet... I guess I should. I still think they need a couple more weeks. Not much change. I stopped the Grow nutrient altogether. Which in turn lowered the ppm to around 700. They are still drinking tons and visibly putting on weight. I will continue lowering the Nutrients. Some of the larger fan leaves started changing colors sort of a mottled purple, green camouflage. I will grab a few leaves in a few places, but these girls are for the most part... on their own. Still smelling lovely. Temperatures are killing me. February and we are in the 80's with 75% humidity. I am going to try a small window a/c in the adjacent room to see how that works out. Trying not to spend more damn money. I have the window a/c already. The Hole where it is going vents under the house in a crawl space. Hopefully this is a perfect fit. If you have read this far and have any suggestions, drop me a line.

Curled Sugar Leaves. In RDWC, others not showing. Fans leaves not showing. Doesn't seem to affect too adversely but the plant is slightly smaller. I have noticed in previous grows. Any ideas 4 my future grows? Thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š Growmies!

genetics .. seems to happen when rails of trichomes form along edge, in my expeience. otherwise the typical things that can cause "tacoing" can be ruled out to be more certain. plant looks healthy in that 1 picture, though, so as longn as it looks healthy i'd go with genetics. you can't force this sort of trichome development... we can only impact small percentages. like red vs blue wavelengths.. yes one promotes axillary growth but it's not a huge impact. important to know scale of effect to deal with it appropriately. you'll never be able to force feed aplant like foie gras and make this outcome happen... only some plants have this trait... it may or may not be correlated to good things.. you'd need lab equipment and large sample sizes to compare to a control group of some sort to discern... devil's advocate .. what if all the leaf trichome development leeches from buds? probably not true, but can't just assume cause and effect cause we like the outcome either.

@TeamQuality420, Thanks you. I get the notion that you need to move energy to the top. However, I just hate removing a bunch of stuff. I'm learning. I still think nature put all those giant fan leaves on there for a reason. I'm just nervous that way.๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜€

@Ezzjaybruh, Thank you. That "chunky" style, if you will, is nice. Probably my favorite. I am just learning and observing. I am very interested to see variations and different types of development. Thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement. Good luck with your grows!
