DrJones Ok, so I washed up 2 of the original 4 seeds when watering and realised that they hadn’t yet germinated since I left one fan pointing downwards towards the soil and dried the surface of 2 pots.. Rookie mistake! 😅 I decided to retrieve the seeds and replace them with green gelato autos. 😅 The 2 remaining Do si dos autos are off to a great start!💪👌👍 I’ve corrected the position of the fans and everything is good to go! DrJones Hello and welcome to this weeks update for my Dosidos Autos by RQS. They’re growing at a good rate 👍 They haven’t need watering since I drenched them to run off last Thursday (10 days!) lol I only did it to measure run off pH and they seem ok so no worries atm. The growth is nice and compact since they’ve been getting quite intense light since day one. DrJones It’s been a good week of growth. They’re growing at a excellent rate. I topped them on Monday and on Thursday I removed all the fan leaves from the main stem of each plant then applied some training. ✂️💪🏋️‍♂️ They responded well but I managed to split both main stems a tiny bit when doing this.. 😅 They’re fine. On Saturday I made some adjustments to the LST and noticed that one of the plants is unhappy about something. I adjusted the circulation fan to point away a bit more incase it was that. I also gave them a foliar spray with [email protected]/L, activera@1ml/L & algamic@1ml/L pH’d to 6.2. And I will also be doing a pH test on the soil for good measure before the next watering. DrJones So I pH tested the run off from the soil of the sad plant. It actually came out too low (below 6) so I raised the pH of the feed on the next watering to balance her out. She’s much happier now. Both plants have flipped into flower mode and are shooting out pistils. I’m impressed with these auto genetics from RQS. They shot up in the first few weeks and have handled the stress of training etc very well. Well that’s all for now. DrJones You gotta love autos! They’re growing so rapidly I didn’t realise the lamp was way too close, the plants crept up to 20cm away so I moved it up to 40cm today. They’ve stretched quite a bit! I defoliated some more to open them up and to help lower humidity. I took mostly lower and inner upper fan leaves. They’re getting to the end of the nutrition from the light mix now so I’ll start throwing in some grow nutes along with the bloom next week to keep them going to the end of flower 🍁 🤞 That’s it for for this week! DrJones We are almost there! I think one or two more weeks should do it 👌 I prescribed them full doses of nutrients and additives this week. They seem to be happy about that. The flowers are continuing to swell, and smelling really nice. Like a sweet orange citrusy scent with an underlying dankness. They’re packed with bud sites which are getting frostier by the day! I’m really happy with the performance of these autos! 😁 the back one seemed even less phased by all the training and defoliation than the front one. That’s all for this week. DrJones I think the third defoliation actually did more harm than good.. Green gelato cousins beside them have out done the Dosidos plants and I think it’s due to the third defoliation and also not treating calcium deficiency early enough.. Anyway, I’m gonna give them another week to show more ambers, but I don’t think they’ll fatten much more during that time..
