Last time i have grown this strain with the HPS they were a very little bigger, taller and more advanced at the same stage, but seedlings weren't looking super healthy this time.
They are very short wich gonna make watering a little tedious the first few weeks so may be next time i'll try dimming the light to 60% to 80% the first few days so they stretch a little bit more on start up.

I did a quick defoliation of second and third leaves stage bottom of the canopy. At this point they don't benefit from enough light and that's gonna help a little with watering even if still tedious.

A few more males preflowers this week, the plants are so compact and bushy it's hard to spot them. Some got mature enough to drop some pollen on some leaves bottom of the canopy that i didn't care to remove but it should be oki.

Found 6 seeds inside some preflowers on nodes, will prolly find a few more when grinding but most prolly not that much. Already lost 1 seeds that fell into the trash while harvesting.

After three weeks smoking the smaller and lower buds i start to have a fair amount of seeds. That's still not that much overall as i usually only find them inside preflowers on nodes and almost never inside the buds themselves. That's the first time i have that much seeds when dealing with hermies but it's also true i had some males flowers getting mature enough to drop some pollen on some leaves bottom of the canopy that i didn't care to remove with water week 8.
I m rather happy about it as that make me a bunch of R1/S1 seeds from a strain i appreciate a lot that i could launch as additionnal backup seedlings for safety when starting a grow. Or eventually later make another full run with this strain.
Happened same in green gelato and sweet zz diaries but good and potent smoke and still ok yield. Sometimes getting seeds away for smoke was annoying and bad taste if miss one in base or joint. 😊
@HippyHemulen, i m not worried, not the first time i have some pollen falling on some bottom leaves and i shouldn't get seeds as there is not enough airflow to spread the pollen near the buds.
@HippyHemulen, spectrum already include some 660nm 760nm leds, but matter is not really they're too short it's that plants seem to produces more leaves stage faster and get bigger faster with the HPS the first few weeks of vegetation then with the LED.
with HPS most strain required 3 weeks before 12/12 flip now with the LED the norm seem to be 4 weeks before 12/12 flip
( i have a friend with the exact same set up as me wich also switched from hps to led so we already had observations from lot of strains under hps and so far 4 strain in veg 3 harvest under led)
still we are very happy the led as over the whole plants buds are noticeably more dense and compact in average with the LED than with the HPS
Today I germinated again Dr. Bruce Banner CBD, because the first growth was not very good, but I will have 3 more strains from Original Sensible Seeds.
