The Freak show was more of an after thought so it's a few days late compared to the others. I'm currently thinking about letting them all run to flower with a scrog and take clones half way through before the flip to flower to start my perpetual grow cycle. That being said I plan on letting them grow to a nice hieght with lst at first then scrog and maybe another screen when I flip to flower. I usually top but this time I'm think about not topping and just bending throughout.
Moving fine out of the initial shock from aero to soil. There wasn't too much of a hold up I would say roughly 3ish days then the first true leaves and second nodes are starting in. Smooth sailing as of right now. No current nutes added will water soon with a 15ml/gal dose of fox farm big bloom for some easier uptake in the coming veg cycle. I will mostly just use water because I'm using fox farms ocean forest and happy frog. But if I think it needs some I will add some fish emulsion oil for nitrogen deficiency and such. I really want to stay as close to organic as possible.
Liking how everything is coming up. I'm going to have to repot the freakshows soon and I might just put them in the veg area I'm putting together now and let the others finish here comfortably. My original thoughts were to do 3 at a time in the alloted 2x4 area and then scrog em. I ended up germinating the white widdows and then thought about really wanting the durban poisons this grow as well and then take clones from both strains for rotation purposes in a 3 stage setup I'm working on. Then the freak shows I really regret starting but it is what it is and I'm not gonna let them go to waste because they are all feminized. But we shall see what happens as this grow continues.
Good growth overall. Side branches are making a big come up now. Lowered the light to 24 in. From the canopy. I'm starting lst and scrog for a complete canopy before I switch to flower. I'm thinking I'll flip to 12 12 in a couple weeks as of right now. Also I confirmed that I was not thinking correctly when I was setting up my tent ventilation to pump air through the carbon filter instead of sucking in it. I left the pre filter on which was hindering my fan, [which wasn't a big issue except for it over working for a couple weeks, I still had negative pressure in the tent itself]. I also moved the freak shows to there own room because I'm gonna let them veg longer than the windows and durban. I'm gonna consider them a different grow and post them in a separate grow diary.
Growth pretty much doubled this week. I defoliated and tied down some branches for optimal light. Also I decreased the day cycle by 1 hour each day till I got to 14 on and 10 off to simulate the coming of time to flower. I plan on going to a 12/12 cycle this weekend if everything continues as planned. I also might grab a few clones from the strongest growers (currently White widow #3 and Durban Poison #1)before flower to perpetuate my grow. Then give it a couple of days to recover before the flip. All healthy and praying as I'm currently writing this.
Well I'm flipping to flower tonight. As this is a perpetual grow and this is the flowering tent. Every plant is already showing sex they are all females as planned from the fem seeds. All clones have been taken from the strongest plants. I removed the trellis net so I could place it a little higher. I'm feeding with plain water today and the next feeding will include fox farm tiger bloom.
Starting to come out of the stress of the 12-12 flip. Substantial growth out of durban poison 2. White widow 2 and e right behind it then durban poison 1 and the shortest being white widdow 1. Luckily i took clones a couple weeks ago two each of durban poison two and one, and 2 each of white widdow 2 and 1. They have all rooted and I plan on getting rid of the weaker and having them as the next round of veg when the freak show goes into flower from veg. Lots of tops, no topping. Just bending and Scrogging. Also added calmag this feeding.
Alot going on since last week, First and foremost Durban Poison #1 is the absolute strongest one of this seed start. I have found the pheno I have been looking for, I took two clones from veg that both rooted and grew amazingly 👏
It has basically been 2 weeks ahead of everything else and germinated/potted the same time. As for the clones they rooted and grew double the size of the white widow clones just like there mom. Such a proud parent moment. The pheno has earned its place in my perpetual grow cycle. I will cycle out the white widows after the next clones flower. They will be replaced by Candy Jack from Beaver Seeds. As for the durban I will probably pull it before I do the white widows so they can finish but I'm currently limited on space so I might let them go a little longer. We will see in a few weeks.
Everything is still falling in line. The white widows are finally catching up in size with the durbans. Really needing to wrap things up in a few weeks for my next cycle to take this ones place. Going to switch my on hours to 10 and off hours to 14. I have had them on for 11 hours a day the past week or two. I have also set up a dehumidifier and dropped the humidity down. And starting to run some cooler temps so they know it's almost the end of there cycle.
Alot of sitting around waiting right now. Focused on the least stress as possible. No more bending and defoliation unless I see fit in small amounts. Still a little bit of growth but it's at a point where I don't think we are gonna max out. And in foresight I have been training the durbans clones in veg to be shorter due to the fact they are actually veging longer than these did and they have showed significant growth so far and taking very little time to root. As for the white widows, they are getting super frosty. Happy with them and have clones on standby for the next next round. I have also already cloned the clones of the durban poisons in these pictures because they are going to be in every other grow from here on out. With the in between being fresh flavors. This time I have Candy Jack germinating in place of white widow.
Not much to show other than increased bud growth. The pistils are starting to change color and we are nearing the beloved harvest. The next week I will do a little defoliation so I can maintain a lower humidity and a nice circulation of air above and below the canopy. I'll also have some good bud shots on next week's as well.
I did the last leaf strip today. I will keep a close eye on them for the remaining time of flower. I almost know for certain that the durban poison is going to be ready for harvest before the white widow so I will most likely let the durban finish an extra amount of time while I wait on them to finish off. Hopefully about 1 week more. I have some plants in veg that really really need this space lol. That aside I'm really trying to be patient, but every thing is on a schedule due to this being a perpetual grow. Alot more budding on the durban poison but currently more airy than I would like however on the other side, the white widow has less budding but super dense nugs. It is what it is. A harvest is a harvest. And I will not complain. Why would you.
Everything was going great. Except my veg tent was completely overgrown and my perpetual cycle needed to move forward. Also i noticed a couple spots where it started to create a couple seeds probably from when the other durban temporarily hermied. Either way I could have gotten a better yield if I waited but plain and simple I didn't.

The weight is the actual bud I saved to smoke. 52 grams dry
