Strain description from the Seedsman website
“Description
L.A. Peyote Kush is an indica-dominant strain bred by crossing the clone-only L.A. Kush with Peyote Purple. LA Kush's origins are shrouded in mystery, with some claims that it's from an OG Kush phenotype, possibly crossed with Diesel. At the same time, another story has it that it hailed from Orange County in California and was grown from a single bag seed. Peyote Purple, meanwhile, is an S1 back-cross of Bubba Kush and is known for its high THC content and its deep purple, almost black, appearance towards the end of flowering.
L.A. Kush is 90% indica and takes 8 - 9 weeks to complete the flowering phase.
Peyote Purple is another indica-dominant strain with 90% indica genetics and was back-crossed for several generations to cement its qualities. This plant also takes 8 - 9 weeks of flowering before it is ready to harvest, producing average yields of anything but average weed. The name is attributed to its headiness.
L.A. Peyote Kush Taste, Smell, and Effect
This indica offers some pronounced cerebral effects with a relaxing yet uplifting effect, leaving users sleepy and somewhat unfocused with heavier use.
The scent of mint pervades the grow room, while earthy tastes of menthol and pine have some diesel/chem notes. The effect is potent yet quite upbeat, and it is certainly no couch-lock strain. Uplifting, happy, physically relaxing, and mentally creative.
L.A. Peyote Kush combines the very best attributes of both parent strains in a pleasurably full package. Get yours from Seedsman today. “
@@T_Dub, Nice.
Yeah, I got a buddy who refuses to flush, the only crops he has had fail was when he did. He ended up getting bud rot on the flushed crop. Has not flushed since, he never had another problem with bud rot, and the difference in quality was not a lot after curing.
@gREEn7o0, thanks! I don’t flush…..I’m one of those people who don’t think there’s any benefit to flushing. I do give them a good long dry and cure though.
@@@T_Dub, I use dry nutrients so I wouldn't go with smaller pots but with liquid nutrients you can get away with the smaller ones you just have to water more often.
As for scrog I've never done it because of my back problems it's to hard for me to get under the net. I do most of my autos the same, I top above the 5th node (set of branches) and push n pull the remaining branches to keep them from under the ones above them. If that makes sense.
I think you can do 2 or 3 in there because in my experience smaller pots make smaller plants, but they could get big without notice 😆
@Cyrusdavirus, thank you.
She’s coming along beautifully.
May I pick your brain Cyrus?? What do you think of growing two autos in a 2x2x4 tent in 2 gallon pots.
Is that a reasonable expectation, or do I need larger pots and fewer plants?
I’m looking at the Gorilla Cookies auto that you recently grew. I could scrog them if that’s an acceptable training technique with autos. (I’m still researching autos, but SCROG seems OK.) Thanks in advance for your help.
@Cyrusdavirus, she’s taken on the shape of an attractive shrubbery. 😝. But she is a beautiful strain….I enjoyed growing her. Looking forward to smoking her next to the Godfather OG and Purple Ghost Candy to see which ones I like best. Hope you are doing well Cyrus.
@Seedsman,
Thank you. Your LA Peyote Kush and Purple Ghost Candy are both a pleasure to grow. They really accepted the quadline training and LST quite well. 🙏
