12/09
- Sour Bubbly has a 4 finger leaf and a stubby 5 finger directly across. Preflowers are showing. Growth has been slow but seems to be taking off with close node spaces.
- Mango Smile’s first full week. Yellowing leaves are due to cranking up the light to ~350 PAR for the Sour Bubbly and removing the seedling dome. Hopefully doesn’t stress her too much for being 2 weeks behind the Sour.
12/11 - DAY 22
SOUR - Started LST with bending over the main stem and tucking away the solar panels.
12/14 - DAY 25
SOUR - Side branches are ramping up production and pushing upwards. Very light defoliation on leaves I can’t tuck away.
12/14 - DAY 12
MANGO - Took the increased light like a beast. Nice growth and leaves angled up, working on her 3rd true set of leaves already.
12/16 - DAY 27
SOUR - Growth is taking off and girl is looking good. Letting her show me which branches to hold down.
12/16 - DAY 14
MANGO - Doing her thang. Looking healthy.
12/20 - DAY 31
SOUR - Started her stretch. Looking good and filling out her pot.
12/20 - DAY 18
MANGO - Super stout and bushy so far. Leaf tucking and letting the side branches come through. Pre-flowers popping up.
12/21 - DAY 19
MANGO - Accidentally topped her while starting LST…. SMH
12/23 - DAY 34
SOUR - Looking VERY healthy and really stretching her legs. Started feeding her fermented pumpkin juice and will continue weekly through harvest.
12/23 - DAY 21
MANGO - Great recovery after the accidental topping. Two new shoots coming in and sides branching out.
12/26 - DAY 36
SOUR - Nice and green for early flower, some yellow tips.. Hopefully little more stretch..
12/26 - DAY 24
MANGO - Really impressed with growth, especially after her topping. Might be a monster :)
12/27 - DAY 37
SOUR - Last round of defoliation, uncovered more bud sites.
12/30
Brewing compost tea of Build A Soil worm castings and Build A Soil Flower Top Dress for both girls tomorrow.
01/01 - DAY 43
SOUR - Starting trichome production and seeing early signs of Calcium deficiency in leaves. Hopefully the worm castings in the compost tea and extra Cal/Mag stops future damage.
01/03 - DAY 32
MANGO - Hitting her stride, showing signs of Calcium deficiency as well.
Is it possible to have calcium lockout in organic no till setup or I’m just burning through calcium in my “battery”? Using Build A Soil LOS 3.0, 12 Gal pots, amended with some Gaia Green, Kashi Blend, Build a Flower top soil, and worm castings.
It's always possible. I'm not seeing you report on the pH here... if the pH is not in the right range, that would definitely cause a lockout no matter what nutes you were/are giving - you could throw a whole bottle of calmag at her and if the pH isn't right, she wouldn't be able to get at it... Make sure whatever you give her (water or nutes) is pH'd to 6.0-6.2 with 6.2 being the ideal "sweet spot" for a soil grow.
And just another word of caution - get that humidity down into the 50s or even 40s... you'll run the risk of a fungus issue if you don't. 60s is great for seedlings or early veg but not for flower....
Good luck!
02/02 - DAY 75
SOUR - Smells great, various colas checked and I say her trichomes are 80% cloudy, 15% clear, & 5% amber. Gonna chop this Sunday.
02/02 - DAY 62
Mango - Super frosty, really wish she stayed healthier towards the end. I would say 70% cloudy, 30% clear, and no ambers yet. Maybe two more weeks.
