Used a glass jar for the first night, then used a paper towel on a plate until I transferred to the soil. My previous harvest was just under 160g for the two plants so I am looking to improve on this grow
For the first week, my timer had issues and the lights remained on for 24 hrs. I was able to fix it so I will be going 18/6 for the remainder. This is my first winter grow in my area and I am still getting used to the humidity and temps. I am trying to keep humidity higher during veg but it is much dryer, and my humidifier cant keep up. I might need to upgrade soon.
Second plant recovered, and has a bunch more bud sites. Did some defoliation to get more light to the sites on both plants. Still some nutrient burn, but is not a major issue at this point.
Crazy rain the last two weeks! I have been running more air in the tent to keep the humidity down and prevent any rot. Temps have been lower as well around 63-65 F. I think I said this last week, but the plant on the left is growing a little slower so I am hoping it will start to sky rocket in the next few weeks. The plant on the right looks like it is doing great.
This grow is much different than the first. Both plants continue to grow new leaves, and are staring to show small sugar leaves. Next week will be just water to flush the plants, and I am hoping they will have a good amount of progress by the end. I need to make sure they are ready and not chop too early.
They are almost there! The leaves are starting to yellow quite a bit, the purple is starting to show in some of the new leaves, and the buds are looking frosty. I am hoping another week and they will be ready, but I am going to be patient with them as well.
Final week and the chop! Final conclusion is that there is some heat stress from the lights I should have been a little more careful and adjusted it. That's the main reason for the yellowing. I am hoping for a good harvest after about a week/week and a half. I will post the final harvest when completed.
Overall, really like the strain and autos in general. I had issues with my environment considering it was in the garage in the winter. Large fluctuations in temps and humidity. I have some Dos-Si-Dos photoperiod seeds from ILGM that I will be doing in my next grow, which will be indoors. I am hoping to get some better plants going forward. Information re: yield is below
Plant #1 (Grew faster and had much better buds)
109g of top shelf
5g of shake
Plant #2
69g top shelf
58g shake (was able to press into roughly 4g of flower rosin)
