Second week of Seedling Stage. 11/10/22 Seed started in damp paper towel. 11/15/22 Transplanted to pod. 11/20/22 Transplanted to cup. 11/30/22 Topped. 12/3/22 Transplanted to grow pot. 12/3/22 Placed in tent. Looks healthy. The next three waterings were to keep substrate moist, not saturated. 12/5/22 .25 gallons of RO. 12/7/22 .50 gallons of RO water with .25 tsp of Recharge. 12/9/22 .50 gallons of RO water with .25 tsp of Recharge. Topped plant. Raised light to 12 inches. Increased light intensity to 75%. Increased light time interval to 17 hours. 12/12/22 Raised light to 14 inches. 12/14/22 Watered with 1 gallon RO and light nutrients per FFs Feeding Schedule along with Cal/Mag and Manganese. Only 3 Tsp for Big Bloom and the rest at suggested amounts. IN PH 6.09 TDS 655 EC 925 OUT PH 6.04 TDS 3140 EC 4400 A little surprised at the runoff numbers as they are very high. But this should make sense considering FFs OF is hot to start and the previous waterings were not large enough amounts to result in any significant runoff, therefore resulting in the first real runoff of any kind. 12/18/22 Watered with 1 gallon RO and Cal/Mag 1Tsp and Manganese. 50 Tsp. IN PH 6.12 TDS 425 EC 599 OUT PH 6.14 TDS 5100 EC 7190 Again with the high runoff numbers. I calibrated my meter, as these numbers are still so high. I will call customer support on Monday to troubleshoot if my meter is defective. For now I will just record the information. Vegetative Stage will begin on 12/20/22. I will increase light intensity and feeding schedule slowly over the weeks until I get to full vegetative stage. For now I am using 50% light intensity at close proximity and using nutrients sparingly. I have FF nutes on the way that I have never used before. I decided to follow FFs feeding schedule and committed to almost all available resources they offer. This will be new to me so I will follow feeding schedule very carefully. Quick note: GD does not offer a Seedling Stage so the week numbers will represent vegetative stages only, except the first week which will include all Seedling Stage notes. I intend to record the weeks my plant grows a strong root zone/system and call it the Seedling Stage. After that stage I will record the Vegetation Stage, where the plant really starts to grow above the soil or root zone/system.

This is my first real week of Vegetative Stage. All prior growth was for seedling and root growth, so I slowly ramped up light schedule etc., to promote a healthy root zone. Although it says week 2, I am counting as first week. I know I'm probably off my rocker, as I performed LST, HST, during the aforementioned stage and it was a little premature, but I am trying something new and wanted to be sure the plant and I were ready. SCROG, is my next adventure with this grow, so I am training plant and waiting for it to get to a point where I can apply the net, which should be in a couple weeks. Numbers for runoff are still elevated at this time. I contacted Apera and meters are fine. I performed a cleaning and calibration on both meters. Plant looks healthy and happy. 1.5 gallons RO water... IN PH 6.04 TDS 329 EC 463 OUT PH 6.17 TDS 4650 EC 6550 12/24/22 Watered with 2 gallons of RO, Cal/Mag and Manganese. Okay, so I removed training aids and now I intend to let her go for a week without any training etc. Maybe two weeks. I think I get ambitious and impatient, which leads me to rush my training methods, which places too much stress on the plant. So I am going to try to just let her grow and stretch for now. Then one more topping, a rest for another week, then start introducing her to the trellis net for Scrogging. My first run at this so be kind...lol. My runoff numbers are coming down and rightfully so. I have been watering without nutrients for awhile now. It is my belief that the soul is still hot and full of nutrients so no need to feed for now. Once the runoff water indicates healthy numbers I'll perform a flush with Sledgehammer, then start feeding again per FFs Feeding Schedule on the next watering. I just wonder if using Sledgehammer is necessary at that point in time, but my limited knowledge leads me to believe that it is. I think it best to remove any salts built up in soil. Please tell me differently if applicable. Temperature outside is 7 degrees, so my basement is now 69 degrees, and tent is averaging 73 degrees. I lowered light to 12 inches and held my hand over canopy to test for burn. All good at 12 inches. I did this and adjusted all fans with the purpose of raising tent temperature. But, it doesn't look like it helped much, as it only increased by 2 degrees. Usually I am fighting the heat...oh well. IN PH 6.10 TDS 335 EC 472 OUT PH 6.16 TDS 3760 EC 5310 12/26/22 Watered with 2 gallons RO with Cal/Mag and Manganese. Numbers are starting to reach desired levels as I water without nutrients. Again it is a hot young soil from FF so this is expected. I think I will use Sledgehammer in a week or so to remove any built up salts and then start regular FFs Feeding Schedule. IN PH 6.06 TDS 541 EC 764 OUT PH 6.25 TDS 2350 EC 3320 12/28/22 Watered with 2 gallons of RO, Cal/Mag and Manganese. My numbers below are good so another couple waterings and then I will start feeding. I am training plant with tie downs to ready her for the trellis net in a couple weeks. I topped her and took a few fan leaves off,, but nothing major. IN PH 6.13 TDS 404 EC 571 OUT PH 6.38 TDS 1630 EC 2300

Watered with two gallons RO without nutrients or supplements. Removed training aids that tied stems down that encourage horizontal growth so that she stretches vertically. I will start trellis net for Scrogging when she is tall enough. This might take a week or so. I removed a few fan leaves and topped her in the areas where I missed from the last topping. I don't intend to top any further and will further defoliate once I install trellis net. I like my numbers so I will feed with next watering. IN PH 5.89 TDS 66 EC 94 OUT PH 6.34 TDS 742 EC 1056 1/1/22 Watered with 1.5 gallons of RO water with nutrients and supplements. She exhibits some stress with a few yellowing fan leaves as a result of my flush to get high numbers under control, but I am confident she will be very happy today with the feeding, which by the way produced good runoff numbers, although a tad low for this time in her growth cycle. But I am not worried and will keep a close watch to ensure she is okay. IN PH 6.02 TDS 1490 EC 2110 OUT PH 6.28 TDS 1720 EC 2370 1/3/22 Watered with 1.5 gallons RO with Cal/Mag and Manganese. Watered with 2 gallons RO water with nutrients and supplements. She exhibits some minor browning on center of leaves so I adjusted the PH to be a little higher. I also pinched and bent the tips to help them lay down in a horizontal fashion. I pinched each branch about 2 inches from the end or tip of branch. This was VERY difficult as they are VERY thick and robust. Hopefully I can apply the trellis net next week, then fill out tent with an even canopy for Scrogging and then place her into Flowering Stage. Time will tell. IN PH 6.61 TDS 1800 EC 2550 OUT PH 6.50 TDS 1860 EC 2640 Watered with 2 gallons RO with Cal/Mag and Manganese. Browning and crisping on some leaves so I removed all of the damaged ones. I think it was a combination of heat/light stress, wind burn and maybe PH fluctuations. I am not thinking nutrient burn because the numbers were good. I raised the light to 18 inches and adjusted the circulating fans to remedy the possibilities of further damage. I also redirected the stems I bent last time to encourage horizontal growth by checking and applying a bit more HST to continue on that path, although not much work was needed. She is all together a completely different plant. Very bushy, huge fat stems, and aggressive in growth. She reacts very differently to the methods that I used on my earlier grows, so I am learning how to adjust my methods to accommodate her and her health needs. Added first trellis net. Ordered second trellis net lol. IN PH 6.30 TDS 450 EC 640 OUT PH 6.36 TDS 1130 EC 1608 1/8/22 Defoliated the canopy and placed bud sites in trellis net. I raised the light to 30 inches. This plant seems sensitive to the light being too close to it's canopy. Additionally, this plant is a beast with regard to the full on bushy and fat growth style. Its so bushy, fat and full that it is to it's own detriment. Defoliation will be ongoing for sure...lol!

Watered with 2 gallons RO with nutrients and supplements. Still some leaf damage as I think the soil is hot. I am going to try to slowly bring it down, but the numbers were fine for previous grows, so I think it's just this strain that is not liking too much feeding. I decided that 30 inches is too great a distance for a 450 watt LED Light. I lowered it to 20 inches. This is based off if some research...internet, and we know that everything on the internet is true so I should be good lol! IN PH 6.55 TDS 1020 EC 1445 OUT PH 6.49 TDS 1820 EC 2560 1/13/22 Watered with 2 gallons RO with Cal/Mag and Manganese. Still fighting the slow browning of leaves. Not a whole lot but concerning because I can't determine what the root cause is. I will work to further reduce the concentration of nutrients and supplements in the soil and monitor PH, but am still puzzled by this browning, although I fear its just high TDS. 1/19/22 Soooooo.....I have had some concerns with this grow. No matter the effort, the plant was nute locked and PH confused. I lost maybe a week and a half of good growth because of it. So I took measures that I have never used before. I used Sledgehammer. YIKES!!! Okay, here is the procedure I followed. A mix of internet research. And yes, for those of you who read carefully...I did indeed forget to PH adjust the first two waterings...not good. 1 gallon RO. Then, 2 gallons RO with Sledgehammer. Then, Wait one hour. Then, 6 gallons PH adjusted RO. Then, 1 gallon PH adjusted RO with Cal/Mag and Manganese. I will feed with limited amounts of nutrients and supplements during the next watering. IN PH 5.51 TDS 250 EC 353 OUT PH 7.0 TDS 310 EC 420 1/24/22 Watered with 1 gallon RO with nutrients and supplements. I hope to see improvement by this weekend, at least a little. says you went from lockout/pH issues then dumped a whole shit ton of water through it... probably a combo of overwatering along with the fact lockout/pH issues don't resolve overnight even when you have fixed the resting EC of substrate or rez etc (same basic concept). Looks like Ca is having an issue, but more likely from the previous lockout issues you mention in weekly comment so, when you ahve a problem don't dump 10 gallongs through it. If severe, just give plain water with a good amount of runoff. this alone will significantly drop EC. Stop buying flushing agents.. they are retarded and usless. water alone is enough to drop EC. If not severe, simply give what you beleive is a reduced concentration that will average out to a normal level.... make sure there's runoff. This is easier if you know previous levels fed. this is more difficult in a soil context to know with any precision, but can be an option when the problems are small and slow moving -- indicating things are not far off. also, is this just a few isolated leaves at bottom? if so it'll probably not get worse as long as you don't run 10gallons of water through it in 1 day. ontop of lockout from before now you have a dysfunctional root zone until it can recover with very low o2 levels from drowned roots.

1/27/22 Watered SLOWLY with 1.5 gallons RO with nutrients and supplements. Okay sooooo...I think I discovered the root cause of my problem. SOIL COMPACTION!!! I reviewed all things past and present. The ONLY thing I did differently on this grow were the following. 1) I always mix Perlite to my FFOF, evenly throughout the mix at about 3 to 1 FFOF to Perlite, respectively for the entire pot. This time I only added Perlite to the bottom 1/3 of the pot. 2) I NEVER compact the soil in the pot. This time I compacted the soil in the pot...fucking idiot!!! My remedy is to allow substrate to dry completely then massage fabric pot to loosen the substrate and also used a tool to break up the soil around the outside of the root ball without disruption of the root ball. All, at a severe risk, but at this point its the only option, other than transplanting the plant into another pot with new substrate. If I don't see improvement by this time next week I will transplant into fresh substrate. I will mix proper Perlite with FFOF. I will remove root ball and carefully remove as much substrate from the roots that will fall off naturally with gentle persuasion. Then carefully place in new substrate and then backfill to cover root ball up to point on main stem where the substrate originally sat. I will say this...I have culled two plants in my short time as a grower and they are actually very resilient and kinda difficult to kill. Even after cutting the main stem on one male, it continued to grow. I had to remove root ball and disassemble to actually kill it. The second male exhibited the same tolerance for torture and continued to thrive until root ball disassembly...lol. So, I know all this is VERY risky, but at this point there is nothing to lose. LESSON LEARNED!!!!!!!!! IN PH 6.10 TDS 688 EC 966 OUT PH 6.64 TDS 1003 EC 1461 I think the effort to break up the substrate failed and even after watering very slowly. The substrate just fell back into a compacted state, as I check the substrate level in the bag. Solid waterlogged bag of substrate. Once it dries out I will transplant to a fresh substrate...its the only option at this point. Uuuggghhh!!! 1/31/22 Watered with 1 gallon RO with root zone supplements. I removed plant from 5 gallon fabric pot and transplanted into a 10 gallon fabric pot. I gently removed as much of substrate from the roots as humanly possible without stressing the plant. The roots looked good as far as I could tell. I used Extreme Mykos Mycorrhizae and some other root zone supplements to encourage healthy root zone. I added Perlite to the FFOF substrate in the proper fashion and did NOT compress the substrate. I am confident there will no longer be a problem with drainage and root oxygenation. The substrate should properly drain and provide the necessary nutrients and oxygen to the root zone. That is of course dependent on my efforts and I have made mistakes in the past...lol. If she doesn't look good in a week or so, I will destroy and start anew. I only lightly watered per research recommendations. So, there was no real runoff to measure. IN PH 6.25 TDS 989 EC 1396

Wash that shit and then give it a soak in 1.5EC standard veg solution is usually what I’d use.. helps neutralize the CEC so it’s not robbing your plant of nutrients when you feed. So I usually rinse it a few times, then do a 24 hour soak in the solution.. then rinse once more just to get most of that off and you’re good to go. Love coco personally. Put some fine and course in the coco once it’s primed.. I like to layer an inch or so of super course in the bottom of all my containers then fill with the coco.

1/31/23 Watered with 1.5 gallons of RO water with supplements. I transplanted the plant into a 10 gallon fabric pot. I gently cleaned the root ball as best I could. I exposed as much if the roots as possible, and they actually looked good. I was careful not to damage anything. My new substrate consists of 70/30 FFOF and Perlite. I treated the new substrate with Mykos and set the plant directly into the applied Mykos. I then lightly watered with very light supplements to activate the Mykos. Fingers crossed. 2/3/23 Watered with 3 gallons RO with root zone supplements. Also used Cal/Mag and Manganese. I watered very slowly letting the water evenly soak substrate. 1 gallon of runoff. I expected a hot runoff, but I have not given her any food or baseline nutrients, just Molasses and bacteria and fungi. So numbers are a bit off for not having fed baseline nutrients. But then again what do I know...its all a learning process at this point. I have seen an improvement and hope it will continue to heal and then GROW! 2/24/23 Okay so she is slowly recovering and today I took measures to help. I removed the top dressing of FFOF from the top of plant substrate. I added this because the roots were exposed. After removing, I flushed with four gallons PH'd RO. Let her sit for 30 minutes then flushed with another four gallons PH'd RO. Numbers are below. I added Mykos to the exposed roots then top dressed with FFOF to cover roots that were exposed. I then mixed one gallon of RO with Molasses and Azos and watered in the Mykos. She really does not like hot soil. And she drains VERY well. Of the nine gallons I gave her, she released at least four of them in runoff. So she definitely drys out, but I don't let her dry our too much lol. 3/2/23 This plant is testing me. I know I am green. But wow. She has struggled from the get go. I keep chasing my tail. Just want to get her to a point where she is healthy so I can flip to flower. Oh well, I will keep trying. IN PH 6.43 TDS 126 EC 178 OUT PH 6.30 TDS 1004 EC 1483 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3/7/2023 Watered with 4 gallons of RO water with Cal/Mag. I tried using only 2 gallons, but I had zero runoff. Probably could have just added 1 more gallon and it would have produced runoff. Albeit, I did get 1 gallon of runoff, so I am happy. 3/10/2023 She is not doing well. I had an intermittent problem with LED Light. In short, it was toggling on/off, and many times had been off for four hours or so. This all happened while humidifier is running at levels to work with the lamp being on. So, of course she was smothered in humidity and no light, along with temperature drop. Additional I had problems with my humidifier doing the same thing. So at times she was frying. I have since corrected the issues, but the stress took it's toll. I finally got her EC, TDS inline. But she is exhibiting symptoms of nutrient lock. To be honest, if she does not show improvement this week, I am pulling her. Too many resources are being wasted. Hell, as a last ditch effort, I might flip her to flower, as she will either remedy herself or die. I predict death. Still learning and know what started it 12 weeks ago and will never repeat that error again. Sorry, no recent pics. I keep pulling off the damaged leaves, so she is looking pitiful anyway.

3/23/23 Watered with one gallon of RO with Cal/Mag. She survived my week long absence...WTF??? I thought for sure she was dying, so I gave up and shut entire tent down, opened tent door and left open, watered eight days ago, and said good bye. Eight days later and she is STILL alive and begging for a second chance. Not gonna waste further resources, so I watered and flipped to flower. I KNOW, NEVER FLIP UNLESS SHE IS HEALTHY. What ever happens, I really don't care. I am more interested in shutting down tent, sterilizing everything, redesigning space utilization of equipment and starting anew. I will move carbon filter to exterior of tent. I will add a NEW Photontek X 600 Watt Pro LED Grow Light to 4x4. Install new AC Infinity Cloudforge T7 Environmental Plant Humidifier, to the exterior of tent, and then plumb the pipe thru available port and into tent. We will see what happens... 4/2/2023 Watered with 1 gallon RO with nutrients and supplements. She is improving and flowering. IN PH 6.56 TDS 1500 EC 2120 4/7/2023 Watered with 1 gallon RO with nutrients and supplements, including Molasses. New pictures posted. I selected the only half way decent looking part of the plant. It is flowering everywhere, and there are MANY colas, but she ain't pretty and I'm embarrassed to post any other pics...lol. But she seems ok. IN PH 6.48 TDS 1040 EC 1466

Slow but steady, possibly stunted due to a very stressful lifecycle. But amazingly, still flowering.

4/20/23 Watered with 1 gallon RO with nutrients and supplements. Doing as well as can be expected. Small but nice flowers. Still time to fatten up. Trichomes are very clear. 4/24/23 Increased DLI by lowering lamp to 14 inches. Hovering around 950 PPFD now.

@love_2_grow, Your grows are not suffering from your laziness. But, yea...I am just trying to get better and hey the seeds are free until I run out, lol. With your success you don't need any help! So thanks for jumping in and sorry to hear about the light and scrog experience. I am not ready for it but am taking the plunge.

I just got the smaller AC Infinity Cloudforge T3 Environmental Plant Humidifier, it's quite nice!

New picture? If it's that bad just dump it and start anew. Flowering takes a long time then there's harvest/trimming/curing all for some light airy leaf clusters that kinda have some buds mixed in... (I know from personal experience, Lol)

@@David369, Yea, I get it. Not sure, but she us coming back and flowering surprisingly well. I'm of the opinion that this strain is not easily grown for a newbie. She reacted poorly to the same DLI the other plants received. She responded poorly to the watering schedule the other plants received. She responded poorly to the feeding the other plants received. So, I just adapted to her needs. If she continues on the path of healing and thriving, I will take her to harvest. If not, then I will feed her to the rabbits.
the end.
