Hello to all members of this wonderful community! First indoor grow ever for me. Super excited, though it will be challenging, since I'm forced to grow in a cold room. Hopefully it won't be too harsh for this strain, which seems to be fairly cold-resistent, internet says. I started my indoor adventure in a bit of a hurry, since my last outdoor harvest was so disappointing and it would have last a month max. I chose a small and easy setup since it’s just for personal use, and I’m counting mainly on my outdoor grows to reach a year round sustenance. I will be growing soil, bought at my local home improvement store ,which I used for my outdoor plants with good results. I would be super satisfied with an ounce of good produce... Let's see what happens! Onward!

The plant looks healthy to me, but maybe it’s not developing as it could (it's about 3cm). Could be the temperature (around 18,5°) despite the heating mat I placed under the vase, but I think it's mainly underwatering. I often water too little. I gave it a little more today, plus some micorrize, we'll see.

At the beginning of VEG week 2, after increasing water dosage, I start to see some health, though she keeps looking very small. Anyway I'm so glad I bought the heating mat, as you can see the soil is at 22/23 C. It’s a very warm winter (sadly) where I live, so the room my tent is in is not as cold as I feared it would have been. Good for my grow😎

Day 17 - I think everything is going ok so far. Not the fastest growth, but no sign of problem either. Day 20 - Whoops, today I finally measured water ph and it looks like my regular tap water is at 7.9. This may have caused the slow growth. Starting today I will carefully measure ph to make sure I’m feeding my plants with water at 6.5 ph. Today I also started LST. Day 21 - Stressed a bit more the main branch and fed first nutes with Bio Grow

I had some temperature issues in the room, so I did some light insulation work and I’m confident it will get better. I’m pretty satisfied with the LST, I think I managed to get a good bend and that she reacted well. At day 24 it’s beginning to look pretty stunted, today I started with advanced nutrients begginers program (50% dosage ), we’ll see what happens. Day 26 no signs of recovery. Branches won’t stretch so she can’t even be trained, neither allows leaf tucking, canopy it’s too dense.

The plant looks relatively small. Leaves look good to me, so I wouldn’t say a lack of nutrients, but I’m no expert. Could be the temperature fluctuations? Or LST gone bad?

Have you tried raising your light or turning down dimmer? That may encourage it to stretch. I don't see anything alarming.

Extra veg week. I might have counted the days wrong in the beginning, but two weeks more seems a bit strange. Whatever, the plant is super strong and the smell tells me that she’s about to flower.

Finally flowering. She’s both the beauty and the beast. A dense and strong bush. I think I will get a super harvest if I don’t screw up. The growth spurt in two weeks is just a wonder to look at. Only “problem” is that it’s so dense, and the branches are so thick and stiff that it’s a real challenge to do simple stuff like tucking leaves or watering, let alone adjusting lst. I’m tempted to defoliate but I rather stay safe, I don’t want to screw up things now. Changed the grow tent and light. She’s under a 150 w led now, and she seems to love the upgrade.

Why are pistils browning so soon? It’s happening on two different plants. Lights distance is as indicated by manufacturer.

Hola. Los pistilos son el organo reproductor de las plantas hembras. Se oscurecen temprano cuando la planta es polenizada. Sigue con tu cultivo y deapues comentanos. Suerte

manufacturers often don't know what tehy are saying and in this case numerous local environmental variables at play that greaty vary from one garden to the next... always rely on plant observation to tweak those suggestions. so, are the nodes too tightly spaced at top? doesn't look like it in pictures, so i doubt this is caused by intensity of light. Though you can assess this better in person than through a pictures... intial node growth is always tight but does space out.. if it remains too tight, that's caused y too much light.. if it stretches too much, that's too little light... easy to see and react to this. take notes when you find the distance and hours of use per day that result in proper growth.. it'll be similar the next time but maya vary depending on how much your environment changes. (temp, rh%, co2 levels, primarily) did you spray anything on the plants? this can cause odd pistil coloration Are there any nanners or sacs in the room? if you have a hermie in the room, pollination can cause early coloration of pistils. these little bits can really hide.. inspect entire plants. maybe bit high in concentration... leaf curl is typically a sign of a bit too much, but that is unlikely behind the pistil oddity.

Yeah. Its just mag. Epsom. Salt will be a great source of mag sulphate. 250-300ppm once a week. Should curve the issue. Feel free to DM me if you need more help. Good luck.

It’s a jungle in there. But there’s discoloration of leaves too. I posted a question about it, an experienced grower suggested mag deficiency, and I decided to follow the advice and started feeding calmag. We’ll see how it goes. I posted pics under different lights to get a better idea. I also did some defoliation, because there was really too much vegetation in the shadows. Maybe I put too much stress on her. Sorry babe 😕 I’m watering 1 lt every couple of days and feeding nutes twice a week. I skipped advanced nutes one time to give her plagron alga bloom instead. Update: it turned out she had serious problems with watering, nutrients and light. I got some good tips from grower 1882Bean, flushed with water and adjusted the light with the Tent Buddy app .

She’s not looking good. 10 days from acknowledging the problem I raised the lights and fed her just water. Since I still don’t know if it’s a burn or a deficiency (a lot of growers told me a bunch of different things and I didn’t know what to do) I stayed on safe side. My bet was borum deficiency, as a fellow grower suggested, but I wasn’t able to get it. She’s put out a lot of pistils, but no buds and no sugar. I’m pretty desperate, I don’t even know if she’ll live long enough to recover and produce something. Time will tell i guess. Today I switched to 18/6 because at this point why not? I guess I fucked up my first indoor grow 👍

She kind of recovered from the stunt. She doesn’t look in perfect health, but after I switched to 18/6 cycle, she started production of buds and sugar and seems able to end her life cycle and deliver a harvest. The smell is weak but it’s increasing. I hope the buds will fatten up to match the “hairiness”, witch is pretty impressive.

She’s definitely doing better, and producing nice buds. Only concern is that there are many of them in the shadows, so they’re ripening way slower than those on top. It’ll be hard to decide when to cut, but I guess we’re almost there. Trichomes getting cloudy. My bet is 10 more days.

Happy Harvest Day!
9/10
Rated
A forgiving strain, I guess. I handled my plant pretty roughly, but she delivered a satisfying harvest. I will give final rating after smoke report. EDIT - maybe 9 stars is a little excessive. 8 seems fair

Part one - Harvesting Day 80, I spotted the first brown trichomes and decided it was time to cut. I decided not to do any flushing, a choice based on stuff I read (blind tests results), so I just cut 8 days after the last feeding. The smell is intense, but not overwhelming. The buds are not super fat, but I’m generally pretty satisfied, given the watering/feeding problems. I did about 90% of trimming, I will do a little more after drying, but I like to leave a bit of sugar leaves on anyway. I removed grow light from the tent and hung the stems to dry. I will update with dry weight in a few days and rate the strain after smoke report, which will come with part two. Big thanks to fellow growers 1882Bean and gottagrowsometime for their help during my first indoor grow.
