Got some free-bees from MSNL, big thanx, this is one of there new strains so I thought I would give it a test grow. Grape Ape x Grapefruit. Grapefruit is one of my favorite strains so I'm super hyped. She is in her moss cube now and waiting for her to pop the top and then I'll put her strait into her 1 gallon or veg.
She is doing her thing. She is out of her germination and in her seedling stage. Her roots were coming out the bottom of the solo cup so I put her into her 1 gallon. She has some strong root growth. I sprinkled some Great White mycroryza in the hole before I transplanted her. I ♡ Fungi... now she has all the space needed for veg.
She is getting bigger, I gave her an new enoculant. BIG THANX to URB ORGANICS. She is starting to smell like candy and she is not even in flower yet, super excited. I'm going to veg her for a nother 2 weeks before I put her into flower. I'm not giving her any macros this week, only micros and enoculants. She is healthy, and staying compact, going to top her once this week sometime.
She went into the flower tent this evening. I feel she was ready. She is growing tight. Nice uniform structure. Gave her a feed when she went into the flower tent.
She is slow rolling it, but none the less she is coming along. No deficancys or issues. Has a lemon candy scent going on. She has thick sturdy branches and main stem. She is staying compact thus far.
She is getting her streach on. She is getting leggy but still has thick stems. Med-Large node distances. She smells like zesty citrus candy and pine/rosemary. She has been guzzling water and nutes this past week. No deficancys or issues.
She has gotten taller. She slowed down a bit with streaching. Her buds are on the smaller side compaired to her sister (morning glory). She has a citrus zing to her, she hasn't started forming trichromes yet. Breeder said 7-8 weeks for flower but this pheno looks like she could take longer. She looks healthy and no deficancys or lock outs. Beautiful structure, large internodal spacing, slow flowering growth, who knows she might explode with growth now that she is done with her streach.
I have took a lot of the N out of her diet coming into week 5 of flower. Her smell is what gets me. Its very woody with a very light fuel, grapefruitish smell. Hope it changes to the fruity explosion that the breeder describes, probably the pheno I got felt. None the less a beautiful structured, long legged, Sativa Dominate Hybrid.
She is looking beautiful. Her smell is not strong at all. She smells like grapefruit & sumac with a sugar undertone. I thought it was going smell more fruity & candy like, smells awesome regardless. She started pulling N from some of her leaves. She is on week 6 and breeder said 7-8 weeks in "most cases"l. I'll see.
She is turning into a absolutely beautiful plant. Bud are thick n big, smell is off the charts with a grapefruit, tart, candy like aroma. Structure is like a stacked model. I have started her 10 day final waterings. Most of the sugar leaves are covered with Amber's, but the calixs only have 1 or 2 so she needs a little more time.
She is a looker... smells of Sweet Diesel, and Tropical Fruit. She started to fox tail and Amber's are grouping on the calix. There are still a tone of white stigma, but her trichromes tell a different story. So I harvested her. Day 52, breeder said 7-8 weeks so I'm on time. Will do the harvest part post dry, pre-cure once I get the weights.
She grew like a Victoria secret model. Stacked buds, beautiful branching, medium nodal distances that filled in completely with huge nugs. Wish it was a little denser but super stoked. The smell is off the charts. It's like a diesel kushyness with a ruby red grapefruit. The smell translates to tast exact. Diesel/Kush up front followed and that grapefruit juice on the exhale. Not super leafy, great for manicureing and trimming is a breeze. Over all great strain, more indica domant, even though her parents have heavy sativa influences. You do get a sativa head buzz going that isn't jittery at all just awake feeling with a creative touch. The distributor at msnl mentioned this strain so I thought I'd give er a grow. Didn't let me down at all. Harvest time was on point, she did through me for a loop, her stigmas will still be white but the trichromes will say that she is ready. She start growing fox tails toward the end of her cycle.
