Four white widdow clones I took from the current plants I have in flower before I switched. There are two durban poison clones also showed in pictures due to me taking them at the same time. Cloned for perpetuation.
Started seeing new growth. About 3 to 4 inches of it. So it's safe to say they are the next to go into veg. They will stay here for a few more weeks luckily I'm good on head room until then and I will also be doing some lst and maybe some hst in this time. 😉
We're starting to get some good growth between the clones here. They have almost doubled since last week. They are well working there way to the veg area in the next couple of weeks.
It's time to repot but I don't have the freed up space in the veg area yet and I'm out of 5 gallon air pots. They are all in use currently between veg and flower so I'm just going to keep them here for a couple weeks longer. Hopefully the will be fine until then. I've got positive vibes though! 😌
Alot of vertical growth here. When i pot up the 5 gallon air pot in a week or so, I'm going to bury an extra inch or two. And then when I see new growth after the transplant I will bend each one over to start some lst. I won't be doing anything too hard core seeing as the doners were a little slower growing than some other strains I've grown. And i will be Scrogging these as well so we're going for a good horizontal canopy that will still be a little taller than usual.
I feel so bad I had to do it, but it was a massive beheading. They were way to tall, I had to. As long as they survive it will be for the better. Here's to hoping they recover nicely.
They have healed from the beheading they received. Growth has started back in both. As you can tell I culled the other straggler. The nodes instead of being equal on both sides, was spaced out and different than the other two. I am highly confident I can grow these two out to fill my 2x4x7 flowering tent.
These girls have picked back up fully since the toppings they received. There are many tops coming up now from what would have been underbranching. I will take clones from smaller branches in a week or so. I'm currently experimenting with a new process to shorten my harvest time from 2 months to 1 month. I'm going to keep the flower tent as it is and I have 2 veg spaces. I will break it down to be 1 space for cloning to early veg and this current space these are in, late veg to early flower. I will use this space for transition after the girls hit the 8 or 9 weeks in veg mark and make the flip to 12-12 as the ones in the dedicated flower tent are nearing harvest and give these a jump start to that process and benefit from the higher blue level for that initial branching. We will just see what happens!
Doing my best to maintain these ladies they are two different phenos so they are not growing the exact same which makes it a little more difficult. They have roughly 3 or 4 weeks before they go to the large flowering tent to well.. flower lol.
I am only cloning the one on the right being white widow #1 as it is my chosen pheno and next run will be more uniform.
Everything is going well. I'm in the works on upgrading this environment and above this for the first stage of veg. As for the two girls, I still stand behind choosing the bushier pheno for my keeper. She will do well in the scrog but I might keep some clones on the other pheno as well so I can see how they both do in flower before I decide. Right now I'm trying to maintain hieght until they can go into the 7 foot flowering tent. It will open up in roughly 3 weeks!
Well at this point I'm not sure which pheno to be the successor. I shall clone both and follow them along closely and cull one of the phenos from that point. I will be swapping these over to the flower tent next week (ish) , so tonight I will take clones from the tops that are taller than my liking and thin out the middle and over grown parts.
Edit: I only cloned the larger plant to the left as I evaluated resilience.
I'm a few days late on updating. These girls went under a little heat stress while I was out having a newborn baby. But now they are moved into the large flower tent where the Temps don't get above 75 and there is lots of room and fresh air with an 8in air exchange. They have recovered and are happy now. I have flipped to 12-12 a day ago but I'm not gonna start counting flower time until this weekend. I'm expecting a great run with these white widows.
Had to raise the widow on the right to get an even canopy and the one to the left is still outgrowing it. This is why I will only have the pheno of one and not the other because I want nice expected growth and symmetry so I can have a few things less to worry about. That aside I have noticed the pheno to the right transitioned straight into crowning and the one on the left is still putting on some hieght and not much crowning. These are things i look at throughout the grow to choose a pheno. I still have cuttings cloning of both at this point.
Great week. The pheno to the left has been catching up on its crowning and the pheno to the right has been purpling so hard and early and also filling out. I had a little mix up in cloning and I have 2 clones that have successfully rooted and is going into there first week of veg. I'm hoping it is the one to the right but either way I'm happy with both. They are growing fantastically and have been really showing there strong suits in reach respected Phenotype. 👌
Steady growth. I've ran into this issue with the right plant. I thought It was a magnesium deficiency with the spotted leaves so I gave it a bigger dose of cal mag in its feeding the past week and I noticed today that on one leave in particular it has browned edges. I'm going to dig a little deeper and see if I can work this problem out before mid flower next week. Hopefully I can. I'm loving how she's looking as far as budding goes.
Everything is on cruise right now. I went ahead and flushed both pots with 4 gallons of water each to eliminate any build up of salts or toxicity that could have been blocking the l uptake of micro nutrients because of the leaf discoloring was pointing that way from my seriously long thought process. I've debated days and days and decided the best thing to do was a good flush and reset the correct nutrients. When flushing I checked the ppm and it was overloading the meter at 2000+. Hopeful that this corrects the issue. As long as she rides along fine, these are going to be some fat colas.
The flushing I did seems to have done more good than bad. The ladies are looking a little better. Hopefully I caught it on time and we will pack on some wieght in the next couple of weeks. But as of right now I'm gonna feed this week and next week I'm gonna taper off to just water. Hopefully we can cruise right into harvest.
Forgot to update between last week to now, harvesting in a week. Everything is great. I'm glad I flushed and it fixed my salt build up and nutrient lockout. It was a learning experience for sure. Excited to smoke these girls in the coming weeks. 😍
Everything went as planned. Had to wrap it up and send the next round into flower. 16 ounces wet. Hoping for roughly 8 ounces dry! I will return in a few weeks for the dry weight and smoke report!
