Everything going as well as it could. Topped the soil up with some ocean forest by fox farm(had a little compaction since sowing). Have given nothing but water @ 6.5pH and 120ish ppm. Reckon within the next week I'll begin lst. Good luck growmies! ✌️💚🌳
Decided to try an organic grow with only dry amendments. The soil has been top dressed with some earth worms casting and just watered plain water @ 6.5. Only done light leaf tucking on the larger lady. Everything going well so far.
Week 4 and they have started flowering. The shorter one was FIM'd while the larger one only received LST. Both have just been top dressed with 1 too for every gallon of soil, with fish bone meal along with kelp meal. Also, watered in with a worm castings compost tea.
Really enjoying the organic style, if everything continues well I may have been won over to Down to Earth dry amendments from here on out.
Good luck out there growmies!!! ✌️💚🌳
Flowering commenced and doing wonderful. Recently fed with recharge as I allowed the soil to get a little to dry. Looking good and expecting a harvest come April. ✌️💚🌳
Week 2 of flower. Lst one is a week ahead of the fim'd one, which is expected. Unfortunately, I should have top dressed the front one a week prior but live and learn. Nice smell of cannabis when you open the tent which is surprising seeing as I can't notice any trichome development with the naked eye. 😉 Hoping these ladies show what night owl can do.
Another week down. Seems I should have added a little more N during preflower, but hoping the added worm castings last week help. Also, turned the light time from 24/0 to 18/6 and they seem to appreciate the little break every day(so does my light I'd imagine lol). Faint og cannabis smell when you open the tent.
The Fim'd plant(call it #2) is quite larger than her tent mate that only received lst(#1), while it(#2) is possibly close to 2 weeks behind #1. The tent is giving off a musky melon almost cantaloupe smell.
Like when you walk in the fruits section of your local small grocery store. Ran into my usual nitrogen deficiency bc of my apparent fear of treating my girls with N til prefloer stretch is over 😅. Gsve some potash top dressed a week ago can't remember if I added it or not on here so this is my personal note 😆
So far I can't complain. Go night owl
Fighting N deficiency still 😆 but smells delicious and #1 is going swell....seems #2 is still lagging behind. Both were top dressed and watered in @6.5. Will be doing a pH of the run off work next week. Smells like mangos and mellons with hints of skunk in the tent. Everything is sticky, added a trellis to keep everything spaced apart and removed some lower branches that weren't maturing well.
Getting frosty. #1 is nearing completion while #2 is around w weeks behind. Got the nute burn I reckon, live and learn I guess. Know what I did wrong and plan on correcting it my next organic grow. Smells like melons and skunk, #2 is getting extremely frosty and showing a little purple.
Good evening fellow growmies!!! Plant #1 has been pulled from them tent and placed I'm the dark tent til I can get to her to chop and hang to dry. #2 has atleast a week if not 2 but seems to be fading nice. Reckon I have nutrient toxicity on plant #1 and #2 a deficiency. Just going to let #2 ride it out, and give it the old school 2 week flush before chop. She has beautiful tones of purple, and the smells are amazing. 🌙 🦉
#2 getting there but still looks 2 weeks out. I've pulled nutes from her and she'll just be getting pure water til chop day. Also posted a few photos of #1 , she's dry, trimmed and put the primo in jars to cure. While all the larf and trim is in a paper bag curing waiting to be pressed into rosin.
Wonderful smells on these ladies. Ended up with 2 phenos, both smell of melons and gas. Great fade on one pheno while the other really didn't wow me. Would definitely grow again. Pressed a little after dry.
I rescued 2 of these while finishing up my first grow ever. These lil ladies are a lot of fun to grow. We had 2 phenos, as well. There were slight variations but both ended up smelling & tasting of mangos & fuel. They took to defoliation well, and though I didn't stress them like this, I definitely will the next time around knowing that they take to it . 😍
Awesome grow! How did she smoke? I'm reading this is a sativa with euphoric effects that get you moving - great for working out and doing things. LMK what you thought. Considering popping for my next grow. 👽
