Love how fast this strain develops, it's seriously fast as can be. Side branching has started on both of the plants already. No issues yet either. I'll be topping both of them for the first time at the end of the week. Then we're on to the fun stuff!
Update day 19 from seed: Still feeding plain water, also topped them both. Decided to do it a little earlier since they're ripe to do so.
Hit these girls with a topping at the end of their 3rd week. Also started them on liquid seaweed for added support.
Update day 23: Transplant
Update day 25: Defoliation
Things are looking good going into the fifth week from seed. Topped and did a minor defoliation last week and now they've recovered. They're also now in their final pots.
Alright, the game plan begins this week. Started off by deciding which of the two I want to mother and which to send right into flower. I defoliated and topped the plant I chose for flower, and just LST for the plant I plan to mother. Both are vigorous and healthy so I chose the shorter of the two to flower.
In the next two weeks I'll be making a separate grow journal for the flowering plant, while this journal remains to track the mother's progress.
Only nutes I'm feeding are hygrozyme, hyshield, and Liquid Seaweed at this point.
Update 02/26: I pulled 4 clones from the mother candidate.
Couldn't be happier with these two plants. The mother plant recovered from taking clones really fast. And the flower candidate I gave another round of topping. Likely the last round of topping. I'm going to also defoliate both plants to make sure light gets where it needs to be in such a limited space.
Both plants are strong as ever. Both have recovered from last week's topping/defoliation. Now it's just a matter of getting the clones to root and making more space in the flower tent.
It's getting unruly in the veg tent. I'm going to upgrade my light to a mars hydro fc 3000 so that I can move the flower candidate where she needs to be. Then I'll train the other plant into a tabletop shape with lollipopping.
Update 03/21/23: Decided to move both plants into the flower tent since I've got a successfully rooted clone and a new, more powerful and efficient light. I'll train up the one plant while I flower out the two from this diary.
Well as you can see, I've decided to move both plants into my flower tent... because I've gotten a successful clone! Figured running them both shouldn't hurt since I'm harvesting the three plants in the back within the next two weeks. I also upgraded to a mars hydro fce3000 grow light, double the power of the last one I had. Fun times ahead!
Both have burnt tips and are showing calmag deficiency. Corrected all of that last week and the new growth looks good now. If it pops up again I'll know it has to do with pH.
