Two entirely different looking seeds of the same strain, got wet for this grow. Seedsman and their Jack Herer Auto get the nod here, as I need a roommate or two, for a photo-period grow that became Solo. Tent is not big, but I’m gonna try and get some shit happening in a small window. 18th - 24 hours in water, and now moved into a damp paper towel, in an inflated plastic bag, near a heating pad. ~ 48 hrs - both shells have now cracked-open. Tails visible after 12hrs 20th - both seeds have Tails popping from the Shell. I’m waiting another 24hrs before putting them directly into Air Pots. 21st - well I blew it. I did not take a Single photo ! One Seed had a 1 1/14” tail, the other had not budged. So I planted the one with Tail into an Air-Pot and put it in the Tent. The other went back into the damp towel in the Bag for 24more hrs. Then it gets a Shot no matter what. I’ll Give it a chance to hang a Tail - tail was wiggled down a Hole and the Seed Head is 1/2” underground, lightly covered. - Watered with 3 capfuls of pH’d water 22nd - Jack Herer #1 has broken ground 24 hrs after being Planted - #2’s tail has not really progressed beyond the shell opening. It got planted and will be Loved for a Week. See what happens -ps it was the Dark little-seed, that had the healthy big tail 24th - Jack #1 has opened nicely and is on her way 26th - 3 capfuls of water/day still - That changes tomorrow; bigger volume and start watering in a circle around the plant. This makes the roots, that have followed the tiny stream downward, they now grow outward towards water/nutes on day 7. (LegacyMarketFarm helped convince me this works each time… ) - Foliar app planned for day 8, first week of Veg 27th - 30ml of water at lights-on. - Small amount of Root Builder and B-Vital added 28th - last day of Germination, day 7 above ground - everything looks great. water / nutes begin tomorrow, day 1 veg

Feb 5th - start week 2 in Veg - small meal planned, tea to be brewed for Wed. and meals going forward - she looks healthy - Thursdays are the Foliar applications of BBP (budbusterpro) 6th - dinner after lites-on; 200ml (Next meal after today; 9th, will be a Tea: 250-300ml Feb 9 - BBP Foliar application just before Lites-out (10:58 a.m.) - FIMmed the main Top. Actually went well. I’m a brute in the mornings to these plants. Technique at nite, brute in the morning Ha - Nutritional Tea an hour after Lites-on: 300ml. When strained, the Tea only had 390 ppm - ~ 10 days till lites-out for the move to Flower for the photo-period SSDD, beside Jack. Jack will be almost 4 weeks into Veg then… perfect timing. (Ssdd ~ almost 6 weeks then) 11th - steady growth is the most obvious trait right now. She (Jack) is taking off. New Growth at FIM site, pictures in 10 minutes - plants lowered to Floor level as Lite intensity is increased. TS-1000 @ 75% now. Still maintaining a 2c temp diff between room temp and top-leaf temp. RH% is 66 - last day week 2 of Veg. One more week, maybe a few added days, but the lights go OUT soon enough for the SSDD#2x and Jack is along for the ride; auto or otherwise. (Hope the ssdd#2 is a female !!!) - Alls good today, she looks strong

Feb 12th - changing tent conditions slightly. Moving to a smaller window in the vpd charts. Keeping the canopy closer to room temp. Its a test vs having a 3c diff. Now that i can generate RH to accomodate heat. Still 24c target. Just the top leaves are all now 23. - preparing next batch of ProMix HP for a 3-gal fabric pot with Bloom Nutes, Bat Guano, Kelp Meal, Azomite, DynoMyco, Worm Casting and an Oz of strong Bud from 2019. Why Not. - up-pot is Later this week, 2 days after next feed. Allowing Plant to absorb as much moisture from the airpot as possible right now 13th - next batch of Tea is brewing (noon) and its ingredient list has been bumped-up as well. Kelp Meal is also added to the Tea 14th - this morning it looks like there are going to be 4 buds growing from the FIM on the mIn Cola. Yesterday looked like 3, today there’s extra growth… - FIMm’d 6 days ago - Compost Tea was fed; 300ml - Foliar Application of BudBusterPro on 16th @ lites-out 15th - woke up and FIM'd the two sites on the 1st node. Yes its a week after the main Cola, but now is the ONLY time to do it. While its kicking all engines into gear - transplanted into the 3 gallon bag last nite. Let it ride, breaking all the rules with this auto, Dbl Fim, 3 containers, extended-grow (bbp), rooming with a Photo-Period etc etc - plant looks comfy 16th - next meal (19th/20th) is pH’d water and a couple NPK RAW additions 18th - last day of Veg; week 3 - light reduction starts next week once the Fim-site x2, recovers~ thurs/fri - regrowth is happening, all looks good - Water is the next Feed in the cycle (food-food-water) - FIM’d on the 9th and 15th, there has been a tremendous amount of growth from this young plant over the same week. Kudos to Autos, this one: Jack Herer seems to be tough SEEDSMAN. - with the use of BudBusterPro, I am going to start feeding with progressively higher EC /PPM values. 30% more than norm on this grow might be a one-time hi-light, but water is still scheduled next. Its been reported that plants fed bbp, Demand More Food

Feb 19th - the light will begin reducing this week. As soon as the 1st node fims show recovery, lite-time starts sliding down. - 4 FIM’s up top look healthy, 1st node is recovering & growing - lites reduced to 18 hours / day 20th - 1L pH’d water tonight… feed -feed -WATER - test-run of Lizard lite, to help put the kids asleep. 30 min run at the end of the light cycle. Small 10 minute overlap with LED before the UV goes for another 25 minutes. 21st - applied branch-bending gear to the Top Cola to help Open-up that area. 4 colas at one location. They’re gonna need some space. Two Colas moved out of the way - Lizard UV-B Light employed today at the end of the LED Light cycle, and daily from here on in. A Small overlap with LED and then 25min. of uv-b helps the ladies sleep !!! 23rd - Pistils in the house, autoflower room-mate week 4 - light cycle reduced again, it will be 12/12 at Lites-out today - BBP application just before lites-out (1ml/2oz) - 6-Leaf (fans) Schwazze tonight lol - UVB lizard-lite is running 30 minutes only, overlapping the end of the LED-cycle for the last 5 min. Then UVB is the sole lite for 25 min. Limited-use, and yes, a Trial of sorts. The Mars TS-1000 in use has the IR led diodes. This UVb boost is supposed to settle the plant quickly. 25th - Last day of the week - Grow Microbes / Enzyme / Molasses is brewing for Tonights Tea - FOOD : food : water is where we are in the cycle - NPK items to be added to Tea: Phosphorus, Silica, Potassium, Amino Acid, B-Vital. GPH (green planet) ~ targeting 1100ppm 6.2pH - Soil has been amended with Kelp Meal, Bee Pollen, Bat Shit, Worm KAKa, handful of HP promix. Then Top-Dressed. - the plant(s) get their biggest, most extensive meal yet. Original Soil may have most of the nutes consumed. Amendments will be the norm here in Flower

Feb 26th - fed / watered yesterday!with a Nutrient Tea, on Amended Soil. She could Jump this week. - adjusted plastic gear and opened the top of the plant-up. Jack looks healthy Feb 27th - working with lite intensity, I’ve lowered the light down to 18” and have been slowly raising the % of TS-1000 output. - big change vs maintaining a vpd gap. Giving the plants a break for the nite at 76% power (wow), 78.6F leaf temp. Big jump in light intensity. PAR readings tomorrow - Room is 23.8c. All’s Good @ 18”, lite height from the canopies -Relative Humidity kept high for this heat run; ~67% - Feels more like a Grow room ! 28th - real power raining down from the ts-1000 now that its set-up had been re-done - and when the PAR meter app was loaded, the first result was Bang-On 641par. @80% power, 79.6F on top leaf. 18” gap between canopy and light. Slowly raised lite Power till canopy hit 79F… Par meter confirmed it… (photone app $8) - its certainly nice to know a Productive/Measured amount of Light, is landing on the Plants - Microbe / Enzyme Tea brewing for tomorrow’s feed - Tent conditions are Steady; dinner tonight Mar 1 - solved a possible problem, by using a moisture meter to check the pots condition. Noticed it still read Wet. The fabric IS sitting right on the Tents Floor. No Elevator, no air flow… Tent-mate is lower, and on an elevator, making them look level.. thats all changed 3rd - BBP Foliar application, no probs - Dinner tonight: Microbe Tea: 50/50 grow / bloom 4th - last day of the week - 2 hour power failure last nite. Kept the tent closed, reset timers, all is good - PAR reading ~ 750ppfd @ 18” leaf temp 78.6F, power 84%

Mar 5th - last Foliar application is this coming Thurs - Pistils are forming at Bud Sites. Pictures tonight to help celebrate that 🎊 - WATER is the next Feed, fed 1.1L on 3rd, targeting 6th or 7th for next feed. Shorter times between feeds starts; plant is to stay a bit Moister between feeds... as per LegacyMarketFarms - I’m admitting it right here, the best changes/progress in my growing strengths is to finally have the light down pat. **fuck the vpd charts and the differential between Room-temp / Leaf-temp** Lower lite to 18” of the top cola. Incrementally raise the lites strength, let it soak in for 10 min, take a leaf temp… increase strength, repeat. The target or Goal is to get your leaf ABOVE 77F. At this point, your Lite will take care of the Rooms temp. To prevent any over-heating or Hot spots. Air flow is critical at this point. One fan is blowing directly across the lites LED surface. The other is ensuring good air flow around the base of the plants. This also helps in wicking the moisture from the Pots. My room has never reacted better to these conditions… MarsHydro TS1000 is running at 90%, is 18” above canopy, and the leaf temp is 78.7F, room is 76F Mar 8th - strong PPFD readings of the Light are an absolute Bonus… and confirmation that this is the right direction to go - feeding Jacks room-mate to run-off tonight with a Microbe ++ tea… The outcome I am sure will be mirrored in Jacks leaf issue as well. results TBA 9th - Foliar Application of BBP done - tonight is a Microbe / Enzyme / Molasses / Worm Casting / Gypsum in a Tea, “watering to Run-off”. More for safety of the roots… not a flush… ie: re-saturate / replace whats there with good fresh stuff. pH 6.4 target 600ppm - this morning the pot is Light ! Perfect timing. I wanted to make sure this cycle was a little dryer. Quicker feed cycle now we’re in Flower - watered slowly and to Run-off, 2.5 gallons - hopefully this lines things out. See what tomorrow says 11th - last day week 2 of Flower - camera pics tonight

Mar 12 - 3rd week of Flower for Jack - Microbe/Enzyme tea brewing since yesterday. - smaller Volumes of additional nutes being fed tonight. Hoping to increase frequency of feeding by using less Volume; 700ml being fed tonight vs 1.1L. Fan is now blowing directly on Pot bases. Might be a new angle to pick up the pace. - some new ingredients added for dinner: gypsum for the Calcium, Worm Castings for N now and Blood Meal to add a little Nitrogen for the long-haul. No More Veg microbes, all Bloom now. Dinner tonight will be 1200-1400ppm - these additions will re-Green the canopy. It worked last week when todays recipe was fed to the SSDD. With confidence this mix will help the canopy - will be measuring ppm / ec as dinner is built. Will post what went in - maintaining the 18” gap between Lite / Plant. Power at 93%, top leaf @ 77-80F - there will be a schwazze later this week. 13th pm - fed 800-900ml 14th - hard to say, but it does look greener in real life. Ongoing 15th - plant was schwazzed and seems real happy - Recovery Tea brewing for tomorrow - plant looked strong at lites-out 16th - fed 1.1L of nutes as above 18th - last day of the week. Soil moisture checks tonight

Mar 19 - start of week 4 in flower, week 8 total - the use of BudBusterPro is proven to add a couple of weeks to the Grow Cycle, for any plants. With that said, its going to be great for Jack… 22nd - looks like I might be able to feed the plants tonight. feed - feed - WATER, is where we are tonight in the cycle. Dinners ppm to be updated accordingly. - microbe/enzyme Tea is brewing - checking moisture status @ lites-on, mid-moist is a Go - fed 1L of nutes as posted above. Cycle is picking up speed with smaller volumes of Dinner

Mar 26th - FEED - feed -water happens tonight -nutes above to be updated as its built… targeting 14–1500 ppm - Dinner tonight = 1.1L 28th - both plants blew through their dinners and were bone dry, last nite. What a great sign as I had moved to smaller meals hoping to increase the frequency. Now the plants metabolism is Kranked-up and now the nutrition system is really active. Good Signs all around - feed - FEED - water, tonight 31st - Microbe / Enzyme Tea brewing for Tonight: feed - feed - WATER is where we are in the cycle. - Strain Tea, add Gypsum / Epsom Salt, pH balance @ 6.4 and Targeting 600ppm tba

Very nice. Why not make it so when your photo goes into its 12hr dark rest is gets dark in your area and try keep room dark and you can keep running your autos and throw the photo in your tent for the 12hrs it needs. Anyways, sure you'll figure it out. I'm juggling 19 plants between 2 tents all from 7 weeks old to barely 7 days old and 60% are fems and rest are autos. So I'm making it work. Bit of a nightmare but good luck

@gottagrowsometime, and you are right… I just keep ole Photo, in the DARK… he doesn’t have to go Outside! And it’ll get that Dip in Humidity % when in a dark normal rh room

@gottagrowsometime, Thats a good Juggle; 19 plants 🌱of various stages. I have tried extending some plants exposure to daylight, while other tent-mates are sleeping... AND INSECTS STOPPED ME FROM DOING IT AGAIN. I payed, I had an infestation of a few insects on day 2 and it grabbed the rest of the tent at the same time. I hope maybe it saves you from doing it some time... Thanks anyways, always love to improvise. Open to suggestions. Cheers Bro

I've been running my autos and photos in the same room the autos went into flower a little before I went to 12/12 and everyone is growing along nicely. I just turned up and dropped the light down on the autos once I switched the light schedule to increase the intensity. It's about how much light they get per day (DLI) not the number of hours they get. Except obviously the photoperiod need the reduced hours in order to flower

@Cyrusdavirus, completely understood Cyrus. To that end my heart goes out to your efforts. Buddy COULD keep you posted with Pics, which is doable… An AutoFlower may just get them over the hump.. cheers C and take care Bro

@1Right_Angle, I have a good friend that is wanting me to help him grow in growing he has been trying for a couple years but hasn't gotten the results he wants. Problem is my damn health it's just become easier to say I can't from the start instead of leaving them hanging in the middle because I'm going through treatments or worse another damn surgery

@Cyrusdavirus, I have a fair question for you. Do you have any Friends that would be Open to having a Plant on the Patio? That was the first step in my Growing OUTSIDE, it was at Friends houses. Let alone in the next County

What is your DLI calculation with that PAR & number of hours of lights on ? Maybe light saturation and their shutting down ? I had that happen in the first series

@LegacyMarketFarm, they would be “spoiled brats” if they were SaTuRaTeD already. I hope 12 hrs at 750ppfd does not ever stress a plant

@LegacyMarketFarm, they have perked-up
