Welcome to Growdiaries Grow 16. This grow is going to be different from my previous ones. Some FastBuds fast flowering seeds have landed through my letter box, big thanks to Heather from @Fast_Buds your a star. I'm really looking forward to trying these out. If you want information on these fast flowering versions from fastbuds have a look in the breeder section on this site or visit there main website. I haven't grown a photoperiod for quite a while so it will good to get back into it. I haven't decided on what I'm going to do training wise but I'm only going to run 3 strains this grow and try and fill my tent with the 3 plants. If these grow as quickly as Fastbuds autoflowers do then i may not do a long Veg cycle, but I'll flip to 12/12 when I feel happy with how much space they take up. During my last grow I got chatting to a grower called Theia (check out his diaries), and the dude told me how he managers to keep good conditions going in his grow room remotely. Very simple bit of kit that doesn't cost much, easily expandable, and can be controlled remotely. I took the advice and bought the temperature/humidity sensor and the 8 WiFi plugs he recommended. I ran my previous grow for the last few weeks using this system and it made a massive difference from controlling devices with timers. Having to guess how long to run a humidifier or dehumidifier or radiator for is now gone thanks to this. These devices are now connected to an app called smart life and I can see them and set parameters anywhere in the world. The sensor will remotely trigger devices to turn on or off depending on the settings I use. New parts to setup. New carbon filter. Wifi temperature/humidity sensor. Wifi plug (for light) Wifi plug (for radiator) Wifi plug (for humidifier or dehumidifier) Wifi plug (for automatic feeds) Wifi plug (for automatic drainage) This grow is going to consist of. #1 Fastbuds Wedding Cheesecake FF #2 Fastbuds Tropicana Cookies FF #3 Fastbuds Gorilla Cookies FF This diary is focused on. #1 Wedding Cheesecake FF Preparation Friday 13/1/23 prep day 1 Mixed up 24L of biobizz light mix with 5ml per litre ecothrive charge. Dig the way your wrote out your diary very helpful since I'm just trying out some autoflowers . Appreciate you sharing!! Best of luck to you on your current grows !!
GrowingGrannie
GrowingGranniecommented2 years ago
@Grow4Releaf, yeah - the only difference between what @Hashy is able to do with these fast versions and autoflowers is the strength of the nutes... you should cut them in half for autoflowers... :-D @Hashy is an amazing grower!
Hashy
Hashycommented2 years ago
@Grow4Releaf, thanks mate, these aren't autoflowers. They are the new fastflowering photophotoperiods that fastbuds has released. Autos will handle most of what I have done during the grow so the diary should be OK to a point for autoflowers.

@GrowingGrannie, thanks mate. The autoflower version is one of my favourites so I'm expecting great things from this one. Wish I had the space for dwc, grow monster plants in them systems.

Hashy
Hashycommenteda year ago
@JuanHaze_Arg, definitely worth a try, at least you have control of how long you veg it for.

@Hashy, gracias por responderme, algún día probare las diferencias! abrazo y buenos humos!
Hashy
Hashycommenteda year ago
@JuanHaze_Arg, I would say it's stronger then the autoflower but not by much, shame I didn't have any left of the auto version and I could have sampled them both at same time.

10 weeks? Fastflower? Definetly too risky for outdoor
Hashy
Hashycommented2 years ago
@Favela31GashouseOG, for my country they probably wouldn't finish in time before the bad weather sets in.

Sehr spannend bei dir. Ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt wie meine FF los legt wenn ich die Blüte einleite. Viel Glück dir weiterhin. Sieht ja bisher super gut aus

@Schneidersitz, I don't think you will be disappointed with them, mine are doing so good.
GrowingGrannie
GrowingGranniecommentedweek 82 years ago
Oh @Hashy!! This lady is INCREDIBLE!!!! I'm going to go with her FIRST when I get space enough to do another grow (have to take down my tent after I harvest what's growing now because a friend is coming to visit for a week and the tent rather clogs up the entire bedroom! LOL) ... But mid- to end of June, I'll be growing this one and I hope I'm HALF as successful as you! From the size of her, I don't think I want more than one plant in my 2x4... do you agree?
Hashy
Hashycommented2 years ago
@GrowingGrannie, you could fit 2 in a 2×4. I have 3 in a 2×2 but that is major no space and a lot of training to keep them as spaced out as possible.
