The Gorilla Cake is doing her thing. My planned pepper companions did not work out so she's got the tent to herself for now. Although the Ocean Forest soil is a little spendy, I do love how much maintenance it eliminates for the first few weeks. I watered her once this week - 2 litres of water - and that was the extent of the time spent in this garden 😃 She should be ready for some a topping or FIM in the next few days. More news next week. Thanks for tuning in ✌️

So you give this one nutrients once a week? You feed, water, water, feed?

@Oozle, Yup. I started feeding once a week around 2nd week of flower. Leaf tips were looking a bit burnt at one point so I skipped a week of feed and then resumed. I was wondering if I should be feeding more frequently, but she doesn't seem to be suffering any deficiencies so I'm staying the course.

Cute cat. My cat likes to eat the fan leaves whenever she can. On the plant or not haha.

@StunFlower, Lucky you. Mine waits for me to leave the door open and sneaks in. Then heads right to the fan leaf/trim bucket.

@Oozle, Twigs is a sweetie. Fortunately, she's not so much interested in the plants but loves to go into the tent.

Plant looks great. Nice Turgor. Looks really happy. Going from DWC to soil is like 💤💤 sometimes, but I like the break. I think I'm keeping 1 of my tents soil because it breaks up the amount of work I have to do.

@StunFlower, That's a really cool story. I never seen a grafted plant in person. Sealing up the wound is good, less change for molds.

@Oozle, My grandmother used to graft the branches from other fruit trees onto the apple tree in her back yard - she would use wax to help seal up her joins. I figured I would pay homage to her technique and give it a shot. Not that I think it strengthened anything in this case but it did seal up the wound. I always thought it was wild that she had plums and apples growing on the same tree. I did a little bit of research and found that it's also feasible to do it with cannabis - it doesn't seem very practical though 😄
