Germination
I ordered some seeds from Fastbuds, got this Gorilla Cookies Auto as a freebie and decided to start with it. Germinated in soil in about 5 days at 20/22 C. Sprinkled some mycorrhizae. Looking a bit leggy maybe. Super excited anyway. Yeah 🙌

I think she’s doing fine. Not many side branches, leaves color is quite bright but nothing I have to worry too much about, I hope.

Not much growth this week. She doesn’t look very happy, don’t know what could be. She grows in the tent beside the Royal Gorilla, in the same kind of soil, and the other one is doing great. Maybe I’ll try adding some veg nutes next watering.

She grew a bit, but not much. A little pre-flowering stretching. 🤷🏻

Unfortunately this week I hurt her pretty badly while adjusting LST. The main branch snapped very easily so I have no idea what it’s going to be. It seems as it did not stunt her growth, though.

She seems to have overcome the topping incident pretty well. She stretched and seems overall healthy. If I didn’t brake the main branch she could have been a beast. I’m happy nonetheless. Strong genetic everybody!

She looks good and healthy. The more she grows, the more I wonder what a beast she could have been, is her main branch didn’t snap so easily. Well, I’m glad she’s thriving anyway.

A lot of yellow leaves, maybe I’m underfeeding. Hope she can make it to the end of her cycle 😬 Buds are kickass though. Nice nutty smelling candlesticks

She’s definitely looking better. I increased nutrients from 50% to 75% of recommended dosage and her leaves are not so yellow anymore. I wonder if I should just go with the full dosage next time, but since we’re getting close to the end of the cycle It’s probably not a safe bet. This time I think I’m gonna do the flushing, since I’m not so satisfied with my last plants’ taste (and that’s probably not because of the skipped flushing but whatever, let’s do it by the book this time). She’s surely taking a loooong time, but if those buds are going to fatten up a little more, it will be worth the wait. Mmmm, those nutty terpenes… it’s like sniffing nutella essence 😋

Trichomes getting cloudy, leaves are mostly yellow. If I start flushing, will she have enough food to reach full ripening? Still a lot of white pistils…

As you're using alga bloom and another organic this past week.. She'll of ate most of that synthetic stuff. Just pull her and let her ride out the week with what's left in her pot Good Growing

sorry, left out this -- let it ripen.. if it continues to progress let it go... if it seems to have stagnated or stopped 'growing' (in this case ripening is growth), harvest it ASAP or your plant will rot on the stem.

if your canopy is devastated, do not flush. even if you have faith in flushing at end of harvest does something useful. It has no impact on mineral content of developing flower and blind taste tests showed it is unlikely to impact flavor, either. a statstically insignificant amount actually favored the non-flushed, ironically, LOL, but a small amount that was well within normal expected volatility of sample size and probabilities involved. you probably needed to give her more nitrogen, just guessing. lots of reasons leaves pale, but often a "bloom" formula neglects to give enough N. some people think you have to cease N in flower, which is insane to do. N is used in all sorts of cell components that need to be replicated for any cell to divide properly. it is needed at all times.

I probably messed her up with lighting distance and schedule, since she keeps foxtailing and buds won’t ripen. They stay mostly clear. I would wait some more but the leaves are dying, so I think I will harvest in a few days. It won’t have developed good amounts of ripe Trichomes but I guess it will be a fairly good smoke. Next time I will do better.

A long and strange grow. She developed great colas regardless of the accident with the snapped main branch. Too bad those trichomes didn’t come to full ripeness. Anyway, I never got so many buds out of an auto. I’m impressed.
