I really wanted to get this strain going. I must thank @Sweet_Seeds for sending me these seeds, I couldn't do it before.
This time I want to try a full cycle 12/12 grow from seed, I am very curious to see the efficiency of my beloved TS-1000 under these conditions and the reaction of these beautiful plants. Obviously genetics will have great relevance with this method.
For this strain I reused a soil from a previous grow, I simply had to reconstitute it with amendments, I wanted to experience this case of substrate recycling. As you can see it is a complete experiment, many things can get complicated.
I hope the doses of amendments will be sufficient until well into flowering and an acceptable starting pH is established in the soil.
We will see at the end how this experiment went.
It started its life this time with the paper towel technique, so, 24-48H in a paper towel moistened with water PH 7.( I had to repeat the process, 1 seed did not germinate ).
After 48H we have the root, so it is going to be sown.
And well... after 7 days we have a beautiful healthy girl with a bright green and radiant.
She received 3 waterings:

X1 H2O PH 6.5
X1 H2O + root stimulator PH 6.6

This week ended well for BJ, you can see a big difference in an indica like this to a sativa like Royal Medic. Same age but big difference in growth.

BJ is giving samples of his future CBD flowers, there is a good amount of pistils and they are very long.
This time as a "bloom stimulator" I'm going to use a homemade fertilizer made with banana peels, with the intention of giving a PK boost.

BJ had a little problem this week, slight but there was. I think it was an excess of sulfur, you can see the damage on the serrated tips of the edges of fan leaves especially, in the small ones there is practically no such problem.
I took the opportunity to make a couple of defoliations, spaced in 2 to 3 days.
It begins to request more water to keep the soil moist. I used 750ml of banana tea to make the compost tea.
It received 3 irrigations:

X1 400ml H2O + molasses PH 6.5 T 22ºC
X1 500ml Compost/banana tea PH 7.4 T 25ºC

BJ is in cruise control mode, seems to have recovered from that excess.
She is already producing some trichomes, she is starting to be frosty.
The PH of the substrate is at 7.
We are going to give another push to the soil with another top dressing of bat guano, worm humus and homemade banana compost.
If all goes well I will end up with some good medicine stakes!

BJ is beautiful, good flower development with some pistils already turning from white to a coppery shade. The flowers are swelling noticeably.
The smell is more perceptible but I have a cocktail of strains that does not allow me to differentiate well.

My beloved Black Jack CBD is really gaining weight. This strain must be short because of its Indica dominance but I'm sure I've made some small mistake, because of what turned out to be a "too" compact size. The central flower seems to be starting to lean because of the weight it is gaining, in turn it does not stop swelling, the protuberances formed by the calyxes do not stop growing.
Being surrounded by other fragrant flowers, I am not able to distinguish their scent....
In one of the waterings I applied Top dressing but in quite low quantity, just enough to overcome the final stretch. Yes, it's week 7 and I give it some nutrients. As I understood with Build a Soil and by some natural logic, I wanted to try feeding until practically up to 1 week before harvest. The vast majority are 9 weeks into flowering.
Received 3 waterings:
X1 600ml H2O + molasses + Top dressing PH 6.2 T 21ºC.
X1 500ml H2O + Top dressing PH 7.1 T 18.9ºC
X1 500ml H2O PH 6.8 T 21ºC

This beautiful my dear Black Jack CBD, it did what it had to do, now it's countdown. It all depends on the trichomes.
It is fading well, it looks very dense and the only thing that worries me is that it does not fall, it is leaning like the tower of Pisa.
This week we finished it by adding some enzymes.
