I had some issues with the boosters, they are most definitely not stable for up to two weeks in a res. Not completely sold on this range and won't be using again.
So I was super excited to grow these for the holysmoke breeder, as they weren't even released when I started the grow.
I've grown other plants from this breeder so knew the quality would be there. All seeds popped and grew vigourously from the outset. They do need higher levels of calmag if growing in Coco,
They responded really well to the training methods incorporated and bounced back very quickly from extreme pruning.
Once into flower the aroma was mesmerising on the nose, citrusy terps everywhere.
I found them to be very thirsty, which can only be a good sign.
What struck me the most was the health to the plants, with really strong branches and structure.
On the back of this grow I've sourced 4 more strains from holysmoke (bought personally, no sponsor) just because I find his genetics a pleasure to grow.
In a nutshell this grow has been pretty seemless and has taught me a few things, going forward I will be spending less time training in veg for a slightly quicker turn around, I will also be growing less tops per plant, this seems to be a false economy, I think it much more important to go for quality over quantity so my next grow will be doing just that.
I will also be using biotabs instead of ab nutrients. I spent a small fortune on boosters etc and in all honesty I think they were a waste of money and time, and these were responsible for the blockages and constantly cleaning out the Res and filters. And I don't see how they increased yeild...
So all in all, I'm very very happy with this grow, I think my game is stronger now, I'd have done few things differently but that's just with hindsight.
@Tonino, Thank you, I'm really keen to establish the tops so I can start tucking. I'm spread a bit thin atm and my available time to tend is limited, I love to garden, but I am looking forward to the leg work getting done and dusted, or mostly anyway...
@crazy_haze, Yep I'm from South Yorkshire. Dont ask me why I guessed you were from UK just seen a familiar brand filter π Yeah I've heard good things about auto pots. May try them in future. I'm hand feeding but run to waste trays so as easy as it gets.
@TheIceCreamParlour, I am mate, how about you bro? I think the autopots are simply genius, keep them right and you can't go wrong π famous last words haha
@Tonino, thank you fella, still some leg work, but I do love to prune π. How are you getting on? I see the dinafem is fattening nicely ππππ₯
@Tonino, thank you, and definitely, and it made me replace the other vipra.. it was just lagging a bit too much, and I don't want half my yeild to be compromised.
