Few things, I replaced the second light to maxbloom to give all plants the same light.
Flipped to 12 12, now just giving some time to stretch while I continue to tuck and position the tops.
I won't defoliate now for a week or 2 while the plants are stretching, once stopped they'll get a good and final strip before I leave them well alone to stack.
So for the rest of this week my duties here are to just keep the Res topped up lol, nice and easy, so far 6 plants are connected to the same Res holding 47 litres, filling this every 2 days, which suits me as it keeps the feed nice and fresh, I find with the Sumo active boost, that if that lingers for more than a few days to a week, it starts to become unstable and deposits what can only be described as slime into the Res which blocks the filter, so having such a quick refill avoids this issue.
Aye so fuck the shogun boost fertilizer lol, turned my Res water to slime and blocked my pipes.
So now I have the pleasurable job of somehow cleaning all autopots bases replace the pipes. Not easy when they're under a scrog.
Absolute ball ache. Never again am I using the boost range from shogun. I don't believe this particular nutrient is compatible with autopots. Happy to be proved wrong on this...
So I be discovered a couple of leaves with what looks to be a calcium deficiency. Any thoughts would be appreciated. See my pics π
I've been giving minimum calmag according to my water type, so I've added an extra dose to the res, hopefully this will cure.
The extra calmag seems to have helped, new growth looking lovely and green.
I gave a light prune to take out some huge upper fans.
Just keeping the Res topped up now.
@Tonino, Thank you, I'm really keen to establish the tops so I can start tucking. I'm spread a bit thin atm and my available time to tend is limited, I love to garden, but I am looking forward to the leg work getting done and dusted, or mostly anyway...
@crazy_haze, Yep I'm from South Yorkshire. Dont ask me why I guessed you were from UK just seen a familiar brand filter π Yeah I've heard good things about auto pots. May try them in future. I'm hand feeding but run to waste trays so as easy as it gets.
@TheIceCreamParlour, I am mate, how about you bro? I think the autopots are simply genius, keep them right and you can't go wrong π famous last words haha
@Tonino, thank you fella, still some leg work, but I do love to prune π. How are you getting on? I see the dinafem is fattening nicely ππππ₯
@Tonino, thank you, and definitely, and it made me replace the other vipra.. it was just lagging a bit too much, and I don't want half my yeild to be compromised.
