So a few issues this week with the autopots, even though I'd top fed for 2weeks after transplanting to the autopots, once turned on it appeared after a few days that the plants where getting over watered, this was a mistake diagnosis, after talking with an autopot consultant we came to conclusion that it was more likely to be getting under fed and maybe the roots hadn't established enough yet.
So the reservoir was disconnected and all the plants got a full top watering, within hours they were back up and praying nicely. I'm continuing this week to wet and dry spells to help increase the root system with some added katana root stim. The res will be reconnected this weekend.
Aside from that I've been on top of my pruning and lst keeping the canopy even and open with all the lower branches getting cleaned to encourage growth.
So for the rest of the week it's all about monitoring, increasing root zones and keeping the canopy nicely even.
These have been topped once, normally I may top again, but I like to keep the buds thick, the more you top the smaller the buds become, so to speed things up I'm scrogging 3 plants to cover a 70cm by 70 so one top will more than suffice.
So the plants got to bone dry so last night I hand watered again, hopefully reconnect the Res this weekend.
Hooked the res back up tonight, and I've moved some plants around to give more space,
@Tonino, Thank you, I'm really keen to establish the tops so I can start tucking. I'm spread a bit thin atm and my available time to tend is limited, I love to garden, but I am looking forward to the leg work getting done and dusted, or mostly anyway...
@crazy_haze, Yep I'm from South Yorkshire. Dont ask me why I guessed you were from UK just seen a familiar brand filter 😂 Yeah I've heard good things about auto pots. May try them in future. I'm hand feeding but run to waste trays so as easy as it gets.
@TheIceCreamParlour, I am mate, how about you bro? I think the autopots are simply genius, keep them right and you can't go wrong 👌 famous last words haha
@Tonino, thank you, and definitely, and it made me replace the other vipra.. it was just lagging a bit too much, and I don't want half my yeild to be compromised.
