So last week was an absolute ball ache, alot of leg work to correct my mistakes with the autopots, yet the plants are showing no signs of stress, one particularly awesome traits of the holysmokeseeds genetics is superb growth rates and resilience.
So now all autopots have been repotted with a fresh layer of pebbles and Coco/perlite, all lines have been cleaned as has the Res. The difference in growth now is night and day.
The scrog is in place and I gave them another prune and some light lst bend to keep the growth rate up and I want light penetration all the way down to the base.
Interestingly I have 2 different lights over these 4 plants - a vipra 900w and a maxbloom x8 and there is a clear difference in growth - the maxbloom appears to be running away with it. I'l be interested to see how they compare in flower...
So after a few hectic weeks I get to relax a little, the rest of the week is tidy up and canopy control, keeping on top of the defoliation and getting the tuck on for the scrog.
So far so good, few issues but nothing unmanageable. Really looking forward to the next few weeks while I get the canopy how I like before the flip.
Feeling positive.
@Tonino, Thank you, I'm really keen to establish the tops so I can start tucking. I'm spread a bit thin atm and my available time to tend is limited, I love to garden, but I am looking forward to the leg work getting done and dusted, or mostly anyway...
@crazy_haze, Yep I'm from South Yorkshire. Dont ask me why I guessed you were from UK just seen a familiar brand filter 😂 Yeah I've heard good things about auto pots. May try them in future. I'm hand feeding but run to waste trays so as easy as it gets.
@TheIceCreamParlour, I am mate, how about you bro? I think the autopots are simply genius, keep them right and you can't go wrong 👌 famous last words haha
@Tonino, thank you, and definitely, and it made me replace the other vipra.. it was just lagging a bit too much, and I don't want half my yeild to be compromised.
