This was my first plant and my second harvest and things did not go super smooth the whole way through. I definitely had some nutrient issues as the plant experienced some nutrient lock that caused her to herm mid-flower, so the buds are partially filled with seeds. I have a couple more seeds of this strain I am going to try to run again and that might provide a more accurate assessment of it. Prior to me messing her up though, she was growing amazing and the colors are a delight. I look forward to seeing how her clone performs outdoors and I have another ready to go shortly as well.

I am not certain I was properly flushing between feedings during this first run and experienced some nut lock. Will hold any assessment of these until I use them again, but I have a feeling that the recommended doses are a bit on the high side.

No issues here. Enough space inside for growing a single plant I think or maybe 2. I wouldn't try more than that though at my experience level.
Smoke review
I hung these to dry for 14 days under controlled conditions, but when I started dry trimming they seemed a bit on the crispy side. After being jarred for 24hrs they were sitting at 58 RH, so I might have let them go a little longer than necessary. Interesting that the other plant hanging in there at the same time held her water a lot more. Maybe it was because of the plethora of seeds I ended up digging out of this girl. The whole trim took me nearly 6 hours π΅ which I wasn't expecting, primarily because of the seeds. The herb itself is smoking a touch harsh at the moment, but I am hoping with some curing and a Boveda, I can get the bud back to 62 RH and smooth things out.
I learned a lot from this whole grow though. A lot of maybe what not to do. But I also got to experience a lot of the bad stuff up front. Here's to hoping the next experiment goes a little more smoothly!

Entering week 5 of flowering on this photoperiod and she's experiencing wide-spread yellowing in leaves over past week. Haven't been monitoring pH or PPM, but am assuming this is nitrogen deficiency due to nutrient lockout. Can anyone confirm or recommend treatment beyond flush

When you go into bloom you dont cut you grow nutes out, you just tune it down some. A little nitrogen is still needed to maintain leaf health. Start out when first going into bloom with half bloom half veg nutes. Decrease the grow each feed after that. Around the 5th week mark is when you should be at no more grow and straight bloom and boosters.

Hi PawsGrow, I'm growing Herbies OG Kush. See my diary for progress. I'm in 3rd week of flower. Ocean is definitely too hot. I bought the frog but haven't use it yet because I'm still on my first grow too. Also when you start fertilizing, cut back on your nutes to 1/2 or less. Growers have indicated that I'm using too much by following the bottle directions.

Hopefully topping with the Happy Frog will keep mine happy when they're young and will offer some buffer before they hit the Ocean.

@PawsGrow, itβs been a difficult plant to grow for me. Lots of leaf spotting, like calcium deficiency, but cal mag didnβt seem to help. Otherwise I would consider the buds pretty good, but Iβve had better. Iβm getting ready to post more pics. Iβm thinking 10 more days.
