Fed her 10tbsp of craft blend as well as another compost tea. I think this may be the last feeding as I've only got another 3 weeks to go. Honestly she looks like she'll be ready before 9 weeks going by the buds. She isn't putting off too many new pistils with most pistils having turned brown. Taking a look at her trichs, she's got alot of milky with very little amber. Most of the amber is on the sugar leaves. I could probably get away with harvesting the top buds in a week, but unfortunately I cannot do a staggered harvest. Its fine though, I'll wait 3 more weeks and be rewarded with amazing nugs.
Speaking of nugs, they're dense. While the quantity may not be as much as I would like, the density of the buds plus the quality of them should make up for it. This is an absolutely beautiful plant and the smells coming off of it are like nothing I've ever smelled before.
Nothing wrong with the plant other than there are a few fan leaves dying off towards the bottom of the canopy. This is fine as it allows more air and light to the bottom. The Lemon Orange is somewhat bushy but not nearly as bushy as the Chemdog D so I'm not too concerned with airflow or light penetration, although I am still defoliating leaves here and there.
Temps have risen in the tent this week, topping around 85. I would turn the de-humidifier off but if I do I get above 60% RH which is a big no-no. I really, REALLY don't want temps to be that high, but its a necessary evil to complete this grow. One day I'll build out a proper lung room with proper climate control but for now this will have to do. π
I'm going to say that this grow is a success. Hopefully this statement isn't premature as I've still got a few weeks left, but I should be fine (crossing my fingers for no mold). Definitely love this style of organic growing and I'm going to continue to do it from now on. See you next week for the last few weeks of the grow. π
Good luck with the grow, looking awesome so far.
I'm just growing the same strain at the moment. I'll follow along for sure , can't wait to see how they turn out.
Amazing diary!
I'm growing this strain and i'm loving it so far, what a smell.
You've done an amazing jog with the ScrOG and controling the height!
Congrats!
@Gold1, definitely out of this world, I can only describe as Sweet Orange Cake.π Me too, I have some beans left but I will keep them until i got a mother tent, it's a keeper for sure!
Thank you! I hope too π I will look forward to see your next grow!πͺ
@NAS_Garden, Thank you so much for the kind words! The smell really is out of this world, right? Definitely a keeper in retrospect and I regret not cloning her. Still got a few beans left though :D.
Good luck with your girl, hope you crush it friend πͺπ
I have seen a few good lemon orange grows thus far and it has me thrilled. Just finally got 10 Lemon Orange seeds after trying to buy them for almost a year with no success. Good shit man!
