DWC - Auto Freebies NASC, MVB, Strainly

Here are my notes. Throwing these in the first week for archives. I started with 9 various auto seeds. Some I bought from strainly, and I'll go in and credit those breeders as I have more time. Then I have some freebies from NASC and MVB. One did not germinate at all. One did, but it was so slowww going, I plucked it. I'm using 3 gallon buckets for now, but the lids do not snap on these car wash buckets like they should, so I may be buying new buckets. The 7th cube, I planted in the Yuban bucket. This was a "stoner engineering" thing I tried, and it looks awesome! So, I stuck a pump and stone on it and let it go. I couldn't just throw her out, so cute. One more tip I'd like to add... When placing your seeds in the rockwool cubes for germination, unless you have a tap root, plant the seed on it's side to germinate. This will avoid inadvertently planting your seed(s) upside down and making the seed do a LOT more work to sprout. This is why my #9 seed was plucked. She germinated upside down, my fault. She probably would have been okay, but yeah. 3/2 - I soaked all 9 seeds in individual glasses for about 72 hours. I was mostly cracks and some tap roots. 3/6 - Moved all seeds to rockwool cubes and moved to the tent for germination. Ph'd water at this point. *Note on my germination box. I repurposed an ammo reloading tray by removing the shell holder insert (mounted with 2 screws). The screw holes let the rockwool cubes drain and the lid makes a perfect dome. Once they germinate and get close to hitting the top, I flip the top over as a holder for the base. Worked great!! Easily put 10 cubes on this thing. Feel free to enhance this and let me know what you come up with. 3/9 - Seeing a couple sprouts. Slow moving. No heat mat used, just ambient temp in the tent, which was about 60 degrees, almost borderline for proper germination to succeed (IMO). 3/12 - All but 2 are showing through. 3/16 - Dome removed. PAR 275 3/19 - End of week 1. Moved to buckets and PAR at 275
