This week was tricky. I was having a hard time with the lighting. At first I'm sure they weren't getting enough. So I upgraded to a 1000w LED with the Samsung diodes.
Problem was adjustment to the height. 16ins at 100% was too close/much(as per the instructions) and the 2nd plant suffered bleaching on the 1st set of leaves. Very upset about that. Raised light and turned down to 75%. Hoping she can recover. I call her Percilla because she's finicky.
1st plant is doing very well. Saw super tiny white spot on tip of leaf before adjustment to light. Should be fine now. She love everything I give her. Very strong little plant. This one believes in itself. I call her Penelope.
This plant got a light upgrade. And then this happened. I think the light was too intense. So I raised it up and turned the dimmer down to 75%. Asking to avoid this issue in the future.
I think what happened here is a bit like taking a seedling you've started indoors and setting it out in the sunshine without "hardening" it off... you took a plant that hadn't been getting good light and thrust it into a lot of light too fast. The good news here is that she CAN recover and keep going so don't give up. I'd lower the lights to 50% for a day, increase the light to about 60% the next day and so forth... And at this stage, check the paperwork that came with your light (or check it online) to see what distances the manufacturer recommends for seedling/veg/flower stages... and go by those recommendations. My ladies get 100% light from the first moment they poke their heads above ground... and if you think about seeds you may start out in your garden like lettuce or corn, as soon as those seeds are above ground, they're getting 100% of the sunlight... YOUR problem was they got too used to the lower light of the first light you had and needed a gradual increase instead of a sharp increase in light intensity.
But don't worry - she'll be just fine!
She looks great. New leaves coming in every 48hrs or so. She takes nutrients well. Gets watered about twice a week. Food after every 2 water feedings. Unfortunately I couldn't save the other one. But the DSS is making up for that.
Penelope is going for it!! Today I LSTed her. By this afternoon she had stood right back up. She took that extremely well. Very proud of how she's coming along. Also now giving FloraGro series with light feeding ratios. She likes it.
This week was little sad. I had to defoliate and topped her. She's come such a long way. That being said, she's bouncing back perfectly for the most part. Slight nute burn on the tips of the big fan leaves, but doing well. Next few feeds will be water. Noticed signs of pre flowing 3 days ago. We'll flip the lights next week.
We're getting to the sweet part of the Grow! Very excited 😊 and sorta proud. Did not think I could get her this far. Last week of Veg. Did some more defoliation. She didn't mind much. Extremely resilient plant.
Looking at your diary, you're not giving the right ratio of nutrients (and one important nute is missing altogether!)... Since she's just gone into flower and you're using the GH Flora Series, you need to be giving 1 part FloraGro, 2 parts FloraMicro and 3 parts FloraBloom (this one was completely absent during veg but was important... the series calls for equal amounts of all three during veg). This is also a good time to add a dose of calmag once a week - that will prevent further problems down the line.

She doing the big stretch on me! Fixed a slight issue she was having. Leaves are getting this slight purplish hue. Beefed up her feedings a bit. She's still going strong 💪💜
