🌖Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and the second-largest natural satellite in the Solar System. It is the only moon known to have a dense atmosphere, and is the only known object in space other than Earth on which clear evidence of stable bodies of surface liquid has been found. Big thanks to RQS for sending me these seeds. I put the seeds in a glass of PH’d water with Plagron Seedbooster. When I went back 24hrs later the three Titans had sprouted tails. I put all seeds into soil at this stage which had been wet to run off with PH’d water and light dose of nutrients. Within 48hrs the three seeds had popped out of the ground. I’m leaving the lights on 24hrs a day for the first few days and then I’ll switch to 20/4. The light is 55cm’s from the seedlings 🌱 which is giving a light reading of 22,000LUX when measured right next to the seedlings 🌱. Day 2: Switched to 20/4 on the lights. Topped up water In bowls and bottle tops. Day 3: Added wet kitchen towel to create more humidity for the seedlings 🌱 Day 4: Looking good, wet down kitchen towels and filled bowls with water. Day 5: A bit cold outside today and temp in tent dropped down to around 16 degrees. Turned on 80watt tube heater again full time. It was only on during lights out and between midnight and 8am. Outside temps due to pick up again in a few days. Day 6: Still fairly cold but all 3 Titans are looking healthy. Titan 1 which is in the back left is looking a bit smaller than Titan 3 & 4. Titan 3 is looking the biggest. I was thinking of swapping pot positions in case there was a cold spot causing this one seedling 🌱 to be smaller, but I’ve decided to leave as it is and see if the same thing happens with my next grow. I watered down the top of the soil as it was looking a bit dry. Seedlings 🌱 are staying nice and low to the ground so they’re getting enough light Day 7: So far Titans don’t look any bigger or faster than most autos at this stage but I did have some cold days during the week. Temperatures are picking up now so hopefully onwards and upwards.

🌖 Titan is the largest moon of Saturn, the second-largest in the Solar System and larger than any of the dwarf planets of the Solar System. Day 8: Into week two and I’m happy with how everything looks. A bit small but I think that’s down to cold weather for me. Day 9: Keeping the soil dampened down and bowls and bottle tops filled with water the help create some humidity near the seedlings. The Lux reading is still 22000. This is perfect. Seedling are staying very low to the ground with no signs of any light burn. The water I’m using now has a very light dose of nutrients added and the PH is 6.6. Day 10: Obvious signs of acceleration in growth with the warmer weather outside. Day 12: Some nice growth. Dampened down soil again. Day 14: Dampened down soil again. I’ll give a proper watering to run off in the next day or two I’m thinking.

🌗Titan is not a pleasant place for life. It is far too cold for liquid water to exist, and all known forms of life need liquid water. Titan's surface is -180°C. Day 16: Gave first proper watering to run off. Each plant took around 1.5ltrs including run off. Plants are looking happy and healthy. Lights are reading 24,000 at the highest point of the highest plant. I’m happy with this as the plants are staying nice and short but filling out nicely.

The Titans, also known as the elder gods, ruled the earth before the Olympians overthew them. The ruler of the Titans was Cronus who was de-throned by his son Zeus. Most of the Titans fought with Cronus against Zeus and were punished by being banished to Tartarus. Day 22: Everything is looking good. I’ve raised the light a small bit due to yellow tips on the new leaves. Lux reading is around 32,000. Orion 2 is still a good bit bigger than the others. None of these plants look any bigger, or more developed at this stage, than most autos that I have grown. They’ve went 5 days now without water and they don’t look/feel(by weight of pot) that they will need water for another few days but they have doubled in height and are growing steadily so I’m not worried about the slow uptake of water. This grow will be my first grow where I’m not going to do LST on the plants by bending them over. It’s usually around this time that I would start LST. I think I will stick with my usual defoliation plan and start removing the lower fan leaves halfways through this week and into next week. This is also my first time growing more than two plants at the same time so I’m looking for a less maintenance approach. Day 23: Watered to runoff with just PH’d water as the tips of the leaves have a small bit of what looks like nutrient burn. This is weird as I’ve only used a very low dose of nutrients. Less than a quarter of recommended dose and less than I’ve probably ever given a plant before. Day 25: (Mon) Removed the two lowest fan leaves from each plant. The lower fan leaves are huge. Day 26: Watered to run off with higher dose of nutrients Day 27: Removed the two lowest fan leaves off each plant. They’re huge. Day 28: Removed next two lowest fan leaves from all plants.

I’m pretty sure this is nutrient burn but it’s weird because I’ve only given a tiny dose of nutrients so far. Less than a quarter of recommended dose and probably less than I’ve ever given an auto before. What do people think ? Nutrient burn ?

It was decided to introduce Bubo, the mechanical owl, into Clash of the Titans, after the success of Star Wars and the popularity of R2-D2 in particular. Day 29: Clipped off one big fan leaf from each plant. Plants have doubled in height in the last week. Upping the nutrients looks like it was the right thing to do. I’ve raised the light a bit. Reading around 34,000lux at the top of the plants. Day 31: Watered with nutrients to run off. Clipped another big fan leaf off each plant. Day 35: Watered with Nutrients. Clipped off last of the big fan leaves attached to main stem and also removed a few lower leaves.

Day 36: This is my first time ever selecting Flowering for week 5 on GD. These plants are accelerating along at a fast pace. I’ve raised the light further from the plants and I’m trusting the plant instead of my Lux meter. Thought I either had nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn but it looks now like it may have been light burn. I’m hoping they don’t grown much taller or I’ll have to bend the main stem somewhere: Day 39: Watered to run off with Nutrients. Each plant took nearly 3ltrs. I think the height growth has slowed so it looks like I might get away with it height wise and not have to HST the main stem somewhere. Day 40: Clipped off a few lower leaves that weren’t getting light. Raised the light a bit. The light is now 37cm from top of flower. Day 41: More defoliation on the lower part of the plant. Also removed very small lower branches that would not have matured. I raised up Titan 1 (back left) as it was much shorter than the others. Day 42: Watered to run off with Nutrients.

Day 43: Everything is looking fantastic. I was having issues controlling my temperatures so I moved the whole setup to the opposite side of the stuff and I’m taking air in now from my house so I’m hoping it will be more consistent. Day 46: Watered with Nutrients. Didn’t have time to water to run off so just gave each plant 2ltrs.

Day 50: Watered to run off with Nutrients. There’s F1’s really are motoring along at a fast pace. I can’t see them taking anything over 10 weeks. I’m still really struggling with heat in my attic. It’s getting up to 30 degrees during the day and dropping to 18 degrees at night. The F1’s are handling these temps well which shows they have good resilience as advertised. I’ve added a second intake line so there’s now one coming from inside my house and one coming from outside my house. I’ve also bought a roll of layered super foil insulation. I’m gonna cover the tent with this insulation. Hopefully this will get my temps under control.

Day 57: Watered with Nutrients to run off. Everything is looking awesome and these plants have been super resilient to the high temperatures. The smallest plant which is on the back left has the chunkiest buds. All trichomes are still clear. Day 58: Removed a good few leaves to get more light to the flowers.

Day 64: Watered with just PH’d water. I’m finished giving nutrients now and switching to just plain water for the rest of the grow. Most trics are still clear with a few cloudy and no ambers yet. Day 67: Watered to run off.

This was a super easy Grow. 84 days from seed to harvest. I hung the full plants upside down for a few days and then put the buds in a drying mesh for 10 days.
