I bought Bulk seed bank seeds over a year ago, put 4 of them in water for 12h, and then in root riot cubes. All gave roots ☺️ Its the first time I'm running 24/0 lighting schedule, so far so good! The lamp is dimmed to 25%, leaves are developing pretty fast. I added ExHale homegrown CO2 to try
Time for replanting! 35l pots, I covered bottom of them with clay pebbles, the rest is coco 70%, 30 perlite. I bought mycorrhizal fungi from basic gardener shop, which is an incredibly cheaper solution and mixed 2 table spoons per pot. Watered each pot with 5l of nutrients solution before replanting. Seedlings were growing in double paper cups, the cup inside was precutted vertically and has no bottom, so it's very easy to replant without stressing the roots ☺️
I installed my new DIY watering system made of 15 mm hose. Might look like a bit of overkill, but functions good tho! I have closing taps installed before every pot. In case some problems show up with a plant, I have a chance to water it manually.
And it's time for a little stretching exercises for the girls 😄 LST training this week. I like to use rubber bands for it, cuz on one hand they are soft and not cutting the plant, but on the other they constantly bend the stem a little more as the plant grows.
Also topping and FIMing, wich are giving pretty great results even with autos on the begging of veg.
I'm slowly switching from 24/0 lightning cycle to 20/4, adding half an hour of night time daily.
Happy grows everyone 🌿💚
I have installed scrog net in the end of the week. I prefer vinyl coated iron wire gardening net for weaving stems. I find it's hard base pretty handy. Mesh size is relatively small - 7,5cm x10cm, yet still easy to go through with a hand to adjust branches.
This week I added table spoon per plant of mycorrhiza. My plants vere showing magnesium deficiency, I increased the dosage of calmag, and sprayed the leaves with it's solution before the night time.
General development seems alright, girls are pretty bushy 😄
Happy grows everyone 🌱
I continue to weave branches in the scrog, they rise above it pretty quick. I have postponed defoliation till the next week just due to the luck of time. Watering with Feeding Enhancer this time. Enjoy your grows 😊
This week plants started to flower. Some earlier then others though. Girls are month and a half old and I discovered that 35l pots completely filled with roots. Beneficial fungi making wonders! Healthy base for future development of the plant during flowering - done ✅
I water twice a day from now on, plants drinking 3-4l daily. The base is green House Feeding Hybrids with CalMag. Plus I made a day of watering with mycorrhiza solution, tablespoon per pot, and Voodoo juice from Advanced nutrients. Another day: base mixed with Cannazym. First time trying Resin from Boom nutrients (received a sample bottle as a present from the growshop 😊) - watering with it and sprayed once before night time as well.
Plants are skyrocketing now 😄💚 developing fast! I made defoliation twice already, still feels that the mesh is overcrowded with fan leaves. I weave branches through screen as well, little by little to make sure all of the branches are at the same distance from the lamp and even shortest of them receive light.
Humidity rises to 60 at times, I think I'm gonna turn on humidifier next week. As well I am choosing which Co2 setup to buy 🤔 advices are very welcome!
Joyful grows everyone!
It was lots of defoliation this week. I am getting rid of bottom leaves and minor branches, which can't reach the top. Huge amount of work done, now everything is clean and tidy, no fan leaves under the screen and no collection of popcorn 😄 some plants became too complicated to reach, so I cut the mesh on individual squares. Its hard wired base is pretty handy in this scenario, interconnected with branches pretty tight. I was taking out plants, to take better care of them. Can't say it was very enjoyable.. too many risks of damaging branches. I broke few, but tape works fine to solve this prob, they survived.
The stems are massive!! Girls are drinking like horses now, 4l a day+, especially the ones wich are on later stages of flowering.
The development is not equal at all, some started flowering much earlier then others. Even from seeds from 1 pack 🤷 well I guess it is what it is. I wish I could give girls some more space, they overgrown everything I had haha. Generally I am very happy with their development, big healthy bushy plants 💚
Development of the plants from one seed pack is very much not equal in the same growing conditions. Some are much closer to harvest then the others. Hight is drastically different as well. Can't say I'm satisfied with it.. but generally plants looking fine. Humidity levels are rising, with weather pretty hot outdoors. Having strong extractor and okayish dehumidifier is not enough still 🤪 defoliation should improve the conditions partly
This week I found bud rot on one plant. Two big buds just had it started. I didn't want to risk mold spreading, so I have cut the plant. She was very close to be ready, I would preferably give it a week or so more to flower, but not a big deal.. what worries me more that the mold will appear on the rest of the girls, some of which are not so late in flowering. Fingers crossed
So I got rid of infected one, and haven't been watering plants for a couple of days, to decrease humidity in the tent. It was pretty brutal to look at, but everyone survived 😀 some wilted a little, substrate got extremely dry. Plus I have been defoliating. During this days I haven't found new molded spots.
Even with these unfortunate events, buds of the cut plant were dence, with milky trichomes and great smell 💚 harvest pics are on the way! Have a great week everyone!
Last weeks before the harvest, no intence growth anymore or rapid development of foliage. Just buds gaining their weight 💚 very joyful to observe! watering them with base nutrients, calmag, pk and amino acids. No more signs of bud rot found, that makes me extremely happy! Enjoy your grows 😁
Close to harvest time! buds are super heavy! Annndd today half of my plant collapsed under its own weight.. so I used some barbarian methods to fix the problem of too many branches falling down 😄 not very esthetical solution but it works! Tons of wire used. A lil bit of defoliation done, and watering twice a day as usual. Lots of photos of my three beauties this time ❤️ they are getting faaat 😄
