These plants are exploding with growth... So much so that I am carefully considering external relocation of the ventilation and exhaust plumbing! While I recall rapid growth during early flowering from earlier grows, this time around it is significantly more noticeable. I've learned something new during this grow - the importance of pH regarding nutrient bioavailability. As it turns out, plants don't like to eat when their pH is off... and when they do eat, they're less efficient with absorbing important sustenance. Changing the ladies' pH from 6.0 to 6.5 has yielded substantial improvements in resolving early stages of nutrient deficiency. At this juncture, my only challenge is determining what to do about Apricot Oreoz. She's always been a runt but her growth is significantly lagging that of her sisters. In fact, she's lagging behind to such an extent that she's being shaded over by virtue of the other plants' massive growth. I'm carefully considering removing Apricot Oreoz from the tent and perhaps doing what I can with LST/HST and/or a SCRoG setup - with the latter option being my go-to (largely because I've never done one before). I'm hesitant to give up on her but it could be the best call if she does not at least start catching up in the next few days. Otherwise, everything is going quite swimmingly. Until next time... ***UPDATE*** Following much consideration and handwringing, I decided to cull the Apricot Oreoz plant. I've been extremely conflicted about doing so because this is the strain that originally inspired me to put so much into upgrading my grow setup... From the very beginning of my grow, Apricot Oreoz has lagged behind in both growth and vegetative development. She was much smaller than her sisters and failed to thrive into Flowering - so much so that her diminutive size resulted in being "shaded out" by the other ladies. I can accept that we all get runts once in a while, but I can't say that I'm not a little disappointed... it should be noted, however, that my Blackberry Moonrocks and Frozen Black Cherry from Anesia are growing and developing at a seemingly unstoppable rate. At the end of the day, my other plants will benefit from the extra added space to horizontally expand. RIP Apricot Oreoz

Does anyone have any experience with growing Anesia's Apricot Oreoz seeds? The plant seems to be experiencing a Cal-Mag related nutrient deficiency that the others are not. All plants are being grown under the same conditions. Any suggestions?

She may not have needed the same amounts of food. Always check your runoff waters ph and ec before reacting. Ph can creep when to much salts start building up in the substrate

@FarmerJon, el mejor fertilizante es, la materia gris! Cuando quieras te enseño a hacer: Humato Blood u otros, tu bolsillo lo va a agradecer, y tus plantas también! 😁

@FarmerJon, hmm, keep in mind that overwatering is the most common problem & use a ph/ec tester if you use chemical nutritions, hope thats a little bit helpful:)

I am not sure why but when I try to look at your new diary it says it isn't even there. but i've followed it I can see that it exists. I've seen it recommended and I can see it has been harvested but it just will not let me go in there to look at it. Hopefully you had another good grow. 👍

@WatercanWampa, I'm sorry to hear that, buddy. It was a good grow, and with fairly decent results, too. With that said, the next grow will be featuring some exotic breeds that'll hopefully delight anyone who stumbles into my profile. If you can't see the most recent diary by later tonight, I can just send some pictures over to you directly. Let me know.

I am curious if the Blackberry and black cherry lineage will try to put on some nice dark purple hues here towards these final weeks.

@WatercanWampa, I definitely hope so. I'm kicking myself a little because I wrote off Purpinator as a largely useless supplement for people who are obsessed with all things purple... only to realize that I, too, desire the "purplest" (not sure if that's even a word) of nugs. So I've only been supplementing with Purpinator for a couple of weeks. I don't think it'll be enough time - particularly at this later stage - to heavily influence the coloration of the plants, but some of the fan leaves are starting to "purple up", as it were, so I suppose I'll take that small victory. As to the Frozen Black Cherry in particular, its pistils are taking a bit longer to darken up. I don't know whether this is a feature of the strain or a bug in terms of its development - it's fattening up just fine, but her pistils are white like pure wavelengths from the sun. So we'll see what happens, I suppose. Thanks, again, for writing.
