This past week witnessed a serious challenge that was verified and resolved fairly quickly... excess humidity. Things can get fairly hot and sticky here in the central Northeast and the last couple of weeks have been no exception. The weather ultimately caused my grow tent's humidity to reach 80%+. I acted quickly and purchased a Midea dehumidifier, which turned out to be a Godsend - it works efficiently, emits minimal heat, and can be controlled remotely through a minimalist, yet slick app. Crisis averted! Otherwise, the ladies have seen some changes in their feeding solution. They're no longer imbibing upon Silica or Humic Acid for the remainder of the grow, and they've been switched to Sour Dee from their Sugaree supplement. In addition, their dosages of Terpinator and Rock Resinator have been increased as we approach the initial stages of Late Bloom. In addition to the foregoing changes, the ladies have also seen a change in their environment. More specifically, the lighting intensity of the PhotoBio MX has been increased to 85% at the end of last week and will be increased to 100% next week. I'm hoping that the ladies will thrive under increased lighting at this future juncture. It should also be noted that my installation of the Spider Farmer UV light bars appear to be paying off. The plants are secreting massive amounts of resin, causing the foliage to feel sticky to the touch. This could be coincidental to the ladies' stage of growth but I don't recall this occurring in my last grow - of course, my last grow was powered with a 100 watt light and a tent with walls as comparatively thick as tissue paper in relation to my new Gorilla Grow Tent. But still... In any case, that's the story this week. Until next time... ***UPDATE*** I've decided to switch out the ladies' Terpinator supplements with that of Purpinator. Out of an abundance of curiosity, I'd like to see if I can't induce the Blackberry Moonrocks and Frozen Black Cherry (and maybe the G13 Genius) to "purple up". While I'm not sure that they will actually do so within the relatively little time remaining in this grow, I figured it's worth a shot. And now I'll really leave everyone alone for a few days!

Does anyone have any experience with growing Anesia's Apricot Oreoz seeds? The plant seems to be experiencing a Cal-Mag related nutrient deficiency that the others are not. All plants are being grown under the same conditions. Any suggestions?

She may not have needed the same amounts of food. Always check your runoff waters ph and ec before reacting. Ph can creep when to much salts start building up in the substrate

@FarmerJon, el mejor fertilizante es, la materia gris! Cuando quieras te enseño a hacer: Humato Blood u otros, tu bolsillo lo va a agradecer, y tus plantas también! 😁

@FarmerJon, hmm, keep in mind that overwatering is the most common problem & use a ph/ec tester if you use chemical nutritions, hope thats a little bit helpful:)

I am not sure why but when I try to look at your new diary it says it isn't even there. but i've followed it I can see that it exists. I've seen it recommended and I can see it has been harvested but it just will not let me go in there to look at it. Hopefully you had another good grow. 👍

@WatercanWampa, I'm sorry to hear that, buddy. It was a good grow, and with fairly decent results, too. With that said, the next grow will be featuring some exotic breeds that'll hopefully delight anyone who stumbles into my profile. If you can't see the most recent diary by later tonight, I can just send some pictures over to you directly. Let me know.

I am curious if the Blackberry and black cherry lineage will try to put on some nice dark purple hues here towards these final weeks.

@WatercanWampa, I definitely hope so. I'm kicking myself a little because I wrote off Purpinator as a largely useless supplement for people who are obsessed with all things purple... only to realize that I, too, desire the "purplest" (not sure if that's even a word) of nugs. So I've only been supplementing with Purpinator for a couple of weeks. I don't think it'll be enough time - particularly at this later stage - to heavily influence the coloration of the plants, but some of the fan leaves are starting to "purple up", as it were, so I suppose I'll take that small victory. As to the Frozen Black Cherry in particular, its pistils are taking a bit longer to darken up. I don't know whether this is a feature of the strain or a bug in terms of its development - it's fattening up just fine, but her pistils are white like pure wavelengths from the sun. So we'll see what happens, I suppose. Thanks, again, for writing.
