Brand new strain and genetics for me so far so good . Placed both seeds in a cup of water on 420 kept at 25c and 36 hours later both cracked open , planted them after 48 hour soak and both have broken the surface . Using a heat mat to keep them warm and roots searching down . Off and racing now
Perfect growing conditions the past week , using heat mat in off cycle to maintain nice warm nights . Started foliar spray today .
I did notice some perlite turning green obviously because I’m keeping it too moist , I’m repotting in a week so hopefully it’s only a minor issue .
Another good week , girls are looking strong and doubled in size again . Heat mats on and foliar spray for off cycle. Will start to tie these down the next week
Another good week of growth , started to tie these down , spread them out and shape them to let light in to the future bud arms and defoliated a few of the larger leaves that couldn’t be tucked out of the way . These GSC are looking nice and healthy but not as bushy as the cherry colas in the same space .
Just moving branches around now with the tie wires to get an even spread under the light , heat mats are staying on to combat ambient temps of 5C , flushed them and will feed them another week or two of veg nutes .
The GSC took off this week on a stretch and are looking really sativary long and pointy . Flushed again this week and will start sneaking in some bloom nutes once the stretch is done .
This GSC is a beast of a thing that will love some more room to really spread out once the cherry colas are out . Throwing the K in now , maybe another month to go
GSC is doing great she’s covered in nice bud and winding down now , she’ll back off on the feed this week and start flushing next week . I’ve already picked a few smokes off of this little monster and it tastes so nice . I super cropped a few of the taller buds just to get them out of the light so much and gave her a defol, she’s happy as .
So that’s that , the GSC is done , clipped and drying . I’ve already chopped up about a half oz and it’s soo tasty I’ll leave it alone now to dry and cure . I tried the 48 hours of dark before harvest and fed her only water the last week or so . A successful run from fast buds genetics I’ll end up with about 30 oz in a 4x4 thanks largely to this GSC that will end up around 12oz when she’s bagged .
Have to say. This strain is an absolute winner. The frost i got from my Pheno was incredible. Has yet to be beaten out of 35grows or so. Lovely taste, very very sticky and the smell, oh boy. My house stuck of GSC for 11 days while it was drying. The Pheno itself was a runt. But, the end product. Some of the best 20% THC strain I've tried, from my own and others grows. I'm sure the UV-A played a part. But, no doubt it was from genes also.

Should be a cracker for you pal, done this strain unfortunately no diary but she was great, sticky as hell and took the kicking I give them in her stride.
@Aldo90, ohhh niiiiice , you’ve got me so keen . Yeah man you need variety, I’ve been doing alcohol extraction with over half of my weed lately it’s pretty cool how the flavours come thru . I’m thinking this GSC made into tincture and dosed in a coffee will be the goods . Thanks for the good vibes mate , smoke signals for you and your weed
@Rangaku, best of both worlds lol. I do the same I like to have a wee bit of a variety, I'd be heartbroken doing 6 of the same and I can be fussy, end up not liking it after a week. My own worst enemy in that sense.
The GSC I would of said I got 20% or close too with the thc it was sticky, grows rather quickly also from my memory. You'll have fun with these.
@Aldo90, ohh nice , I’ve only heard good things about this strain I’m so keen to grow it out . I’ve never even smoked GSC before but when I was living in Canada I gave the actual GSC a good go .. so delicious !!
They do seem like a hearty plant , really looking like a sativa so skinny and pointy especially in comparison to the cherry cola that’s growing alongside that looks like an indica dominant . Good times
